Visiting from Texas, loved the vibe of the entire hotel. The upstairs mixologists were top tier, nothing on their drink menu interested me so they whipped up something so delicious. The front desk was so helpful to find me an umbrella on a rainy day. Just overall great service and The HEWING will be my hotel for every stay in Minneapolis.
We loved this hotel! We attended a concert and decided to stay overnight. The music was great- food excellent and the room clean and had an urban modern feel. It was very comfortable and the staff was always willing to help.
AC was out during our stay, so our room was 78 degrees all night while it was 90 degrees outside

The building is unique & interesting in a good way...loved the large fireplace in the lobby - was perfectly cozy for the cold night we stayed. The brick walls & exposed rough hewn beams give an industrial vibe from a long ago time but is warm & comfortable. The interior is like no other hotel I have been a guest. The only negative, for me, was the difficult parking situation. If you arrive via car, the closest parking is 2 blocks away & valet/parking is $46 per 24 hours.
Wish they offered bathrobes in the rooms. And coffee.
The property was overall one of the better boutique hotels I have stayed in.
The hotel is beautiful. Sauna is great and bar/restaurant. Pool was drained so we were unable to use. Wish they would of let us know before if they were doing maintenance.
It is a boutique hotel, an old building turned into a really nice place with exposed original wall bricks and wood ceilings. The location is excellent in a newly restored arra of the city too. It was hot during our stay and the hot tub in the roof was too hot to be used. Besides, it demanded a $ 50 a person, something surprising to what already is a pricey stay. I don’t think we will ever stay there again. Too expensive for what it is offered.
