We stayed at this hotel for our annual girls weekend..it also happened to be the same weekend at the CFR/ONE which wasn't terrible but the unattended children running up and down the halls with ZERO supervision which I understand is not the hotels fault but I did not hear any staff monitoring the hallways.
Stayed for 2 nights attending a business meeting, the pool was out both days. Catered food was ok, The coffee cups were small, when asked for a tall paper take away cup, they indicated that they did not have any. The ABM did not have cash. The venue did not accept corporate cheque even when 80% of the hotel was filled for a corporate event. (even when a phone conversation had occurred 3 weeks before with reservations who indicated that they will take a corporate cheque)
We had our regional meeting here in November 2017. Over all it was good lunch was good breaks was well. It was good. Easy access and no parking issue. Good for short stays and meetings. Cost efficient
Every one of the staff we met or came across were friendly and extremely helpful. Place was clean and requests/inquiries were answered quickly. A warm and inviting atmosphere. Would definitely be staying there again.
The hotel has great facilities. The rooms are well aged. The attached pub is fantastic with great food. The attached restaurant is good for breakfast. Was there for a conference. The staff looked after the group's need flawlessly. Quiet place to stay.
freindly staff and clean hotel.Came here fist time on our way for a vacation. I read good things about the hotel and thought to try out. We all happy how nice clean rooms they were.We will come back again.
I have stayed this hotel few times.Friendly staff who try to do there best to keep the hotel alive. Hotel show its age now but houekeeping staff do there magic to keep it really clean. I am really happy to see such clean rooms for the look of the hotel. Super friendly and humble people. Thanks for the good work.I would love to come back to stay here again.
My team has frequented Duke’s for many years. We have and continue to enjoy great service by the serving staff. Kudos are warranted. However, the new menu has left our entire group disgruntled. The members of our team who previously enjoyed the flexibility of the old menu are not stifled by the rigid inflexibility of the new menu and disappointed by price increases. $6 for a very small side of vegetables is not helping us make the best of a bad menu. The serving team although very upbeat about the new menu cannot seem to offer suggestions for healthier choices beyond spend more money. I’m sorry to report our business will be going elsewhere until reports indicate the menu has improved. (Insert sad face here)
Although we both live in Edmonton, my friend and I decided to have a mini-getaway for our Saturday night. We are regulars at the Duke Pub which is located at the hotel, so naturally we booked our room at the hotel. It was a great weekend! Our visit started out by being greeted by Jeff at the front desk. He truly is the best! He always has a smile and a wave and always excels at making us feel welcome and comfortable. He is an amazing brand ambassador for Four Points, and is the reason that I always recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues when they visit the city. We had a lovely room on the fifth floor. Such a comfortable bed with the most lovely fresh linens. It has a luxury spa feeling! Very nice! The temperature in the room was 100% perfect and it was so peaceful and quiet. Bravo to the housekeeping staff! We went to the Duke Pub on Friday night for the live music and Saturday night for the comedy festival. Both were so much fun. Nadine always plans such great events and we especially love the football bus packages. Nadine always makes sure we have a reason to come to the pub on weekends! A big shoutout to the talented staff at the Duke Pub. They are always so kind and professional. I always feel welcome when I walk into the pub. They always provide top notch service even when they are extremely busy. Amazing at remembering and mixing our favourite drinks, the staff at the Duke are the friendliest, most hard working team you will ever meet. Thank you for the awesome weekend Four Points! We always know we are in for a fun time whenever we stop by!
We stayed here on 2 separate nights since we were flying out of Edmonton to Iceland. Each time, we had friendly people at the front desk and our check in went very quickly. The hotel is very quiet. We had breakfast in the restaurant as they do have a 'breakfast buffet' that you can have for, I believe, $13.50 per person. Since neither one of us is a big breakfast person, we just settled for something off of their breakfast menu. On our second stay there, we opted to have our supper in the restaurant as we were tired from flying and didn't feel like driving around looking for something to eat. My husband had the 'special' which was a steak sandwich that came with a glass of your choice of red or white wine for $14.50 which was a good deal. I enjoyed my 1 pc of fish with fries and coleslaw! And, once again, we just had something off from their breakfast menu rather than having the breakfast buffet.
