Excellent resort right on the water. It may not be as fancy and ostentatious as some of the other Kohala resorts, but it strikes a perfect balance: extremely nice but not overly stuffy. The staff was excellent. I was afraid that the resort itself would be overly crowded: long waits for the pool, ...
Front desk has always been extremely helpful and very pleasant. Property is quiet and serene.
Thought it had direct beach access, we never found it. We were only there 2 nights, so perhaps we missed the the secret path.
We had a balcony that overlooked the pool, so it was nice to see how busy it was before lugging our things there. The room was spacious, kitchen was great, very clean. It was quiet, staff was friendly and very helpful.
Property beautiful, had to pay for "upgrade" to two queens vs a king bed, but all in all good experience. Restaurants were good but very expensive. Beach was nice, didn't use pools but were also nice. VIP benefit was discount on spa, stables or golf course but weren't informed of the discount until ...

Friendly employees, overall great place to stay. Dislike how the other rooms are way to close to each other you can hear your neighbors, elevator was a 5-10min wait from 2-3rd floor going up. I would come back and book again
It was under construction, which was noisy during the day, but otherwise, the hotel is perfect! So many cozy nooks to lounge, amazing views, and comfy beds. I can't wait to come back here.
The location is perfect, the beach is very clean and water is just crystal clear. I love that there are recycling bins, I wish it could be for more than just cans but I still like that they have them. Waking up and being able to open the sliding doors entirely to enjoy the morning breeze was just ...
We came back from the beach to see that our room door wasn’t properly latching and was wide open. No matter how hard we slammed the door it wouldn’t latch. I called down to the front desk and they said they would send someone up immediately. An hour later no one had come and we packed up all our ...
