Had a wonderful time at the hotelcoz! Good food and rooms for the price! The beach area is great for swimming and wading, and there is direct access to fine snorkeling in clear water with many fishes. Various Activities are available throughout the day. My only suggestion for improvement is for the beach lounges. People claim them for the week, so many of us never had a chance for one on the beach. Sugestion: put a sign telling guests that beach chairs need to be emptied by 11pm, and all personal belongings left after that will be removed and can be claimed at lost and found. That would give everyone a chance to sit on the beach. We had a great week at a great location!

Everything is very clean, around the pool the bars the beach, what I didn't like was the poor service of the waiters, see you sitting and they don't even come to bring you a glass of water, or are least to see if you want something to drink, I wish they were a good workout, attention to the guest

Understaffed, but available staff was very friendly and helpful. Poor food selection. Buffet was a mixture of foods that didn’t really go together. Not a lot of activities for the kids that other Cozumel resorts offer. No fridge in room. Had to request an iron. Older resort that needs to be renovated. EXCELLENT snorkeling. Room was clean. Resort grounds kept clean and manicured.

Beach is Beautiful very Nice. If you like a quiet vacation this is the place. There is no night life here. The staff is very good. Martha at the desk and Carlos and Oscar in the Dining area. The hotel is dated but my AC blew really cold. Thank God. They need to hire a new Chef. The food needs a major upgrade. The same food over and over. I understand the saying you get what you pay for, but the quality of food was not good with the exception of breakfast the omelettes were good. They need some night time activities that close at 11. If they upgrade the food quality and upgrade the food choices, upgrade the towels, pillows, mattresses plus add some entertainment it would be a winner. I overlooked it all because of the beach and clear water.

Wife & I needed a short vacation. 4d/3N. PROS: The property was "a bit" outdated, but nothing crazy. Employees were very accommodating, friendly and warm. Had an 8th floor room. Perfect view of grounds and ocean. Ants had a trail from under door room in the evening. I had to spray hairspray around bottom of door and along baseboard to block the trail they follow in and out. Our showerhead was in need of a replacement or deep cleaning. These are details that a property manager should be noticing if routine room checks occurred. CONS: The "all day" buffet located outside in the middle of the property has some SERIOUS ISSUES! Buffet is enclosed with netting to "keep the birds out". There are two entrances to this buffet area. One side has a netted spring loaded door that closes behind you as you walk in. Very good. The opposite end of the buffet has a glass door that you push open to walk in, but will not close behind you. The door also has stoppers at the bottom that could be used to keep that door closed all the times, making the buffet accessible through one door only, the one that closes behind you as you walk in. The glass door is used by the island BIRDS to walk in like they own the joint! There are holes in the netting along the vertical columns that simply need to be fixed so that the birds won't enter. These are simple fixes. BIRDS ARE EATING DIRECTLY FROM BUFFET TRAYS!! Not cool. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO FIX THIS ASAP!! There's no excuse for this situation! SMH

The resort was great! The staff was very nice! It was very hard to make dinner reservations, not enough spaces available. The hot tub was not even warm. Overall experience was good and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!
