I was recently in Naperville for a work trip. As a platinum SPG member, I'm pretty loyal to their properties so I have a pretty good sample size when it comes to hotels. Check-in: I did the mobile check in via the SPG app, so my room number and keys were ready immediately. Elevators: There are three and they were a bit finicky. The first two tries, the light for the button to my floor didn't show up so being on the second floor, I asked where the stairs were. Apparently they are only accessible from the outside. Room: When I walked in, the room smelled a little musky and felt damp. The carpet is a hideous brown that just feels dirty. The HVAC is one of those wall units that juts into the room and has a constant humb, could be bothersome for some light sleepers. Closet is very tiny and barely enough room to fit items for a 2 night stay. In the morning, noticed mold behind the wall paper so asked to switch rooms. Bathroom: The vanity is pretty spacious, plenty of room to spread out toiletries. Shower head is a little short for tall people. Lounge: The Sheraton Club is on the 8th floor. Food spread in the evening is minimal. Usually a hot dish, some veggies and cheese and a dessert. Gym: Located in the lower level, kind of hard to find because you take the elevator to one then transfer to another elevator to get to the basement. There are your basic cardio machines and a few weight machines. Restaurant: I had breakfast here. Omelet bar is nice. Overall, service is slow and not really attentive. Finished my plate of food before someone came over to ask how I was doing or if I wanted any coffee. It's also in the atrium of an office building so feels very cavernous. I had a breakfast voucher but normally the buffet is $14. Overall, has great potential but within the Sheraton family of hotels, falls on the lower end of the spectrum. When I return for a future trip to the area, I'll probably choose a different hotel.

I needed to find a place to stay near Naperville and came across this Sheraton in Lisle. The hotel was very clean and full service (restaurant, bar ect) My room was great and the bed was fantastic. I had a great stay and highly recommend. The team was outstanding and very helpful. Great job!!!!

The hotel staff is good, and so is the hotel. I called in TWICE for a drink and they said it would be delivered in about 30 mins. After an hour of not being serviced I called twice again and on the second call the manager said they don't deliver until 11am. If you are an international traveller, it is ridiculous. Because talking to the staff twice, it was very disappointing. Did not expect this from a Sheraton. Also had problems with the bathroom.... Keeps running,and is annoying if trying to sleep. The guy came to fix it but it still didn't help. Look for other places nearby. A lot of options, and cheaper.

We had a good stay here. We found the staff pleasant and attentive. The room was a nice size and cleaned regularly. One thing you need to understand though is that the elevators here are odd. They don't all go to all the floors. There is only one elevator that takes you to the level where the pool and fitness center are and if you don't get on that elevator from your room you have to get off the elevator you are on and transfer to the pool access elevator. The pool is located only one floor below the lobby. I am not sure why this is. Also we were not able to get to out 8th floor room by using the middle elevator. It was just odd. The lobby is very nice and offers several books to read. It is a nice place. It just brings new meaning to "his elevator does go to all floors"/

This is obviously a hotel where, for a while now, any time something small breaks, it just stays broken, and now it's adding up. One of the elevators was broken throughout my stay, and every time it would freeze, all of the elevators would freeze. They would then put a sign in front of the broken one for a few hours and take it away again. There is no internal access to the stairwells on the ground floor because they are just fire exits, so you have to go outside of the building and enter through a door that somebody propped open. And it gets old after a while. Also probably not a super safe or secure solution. The room was below par for an affordable motel, but priced as if it were a nice hotel, with stained curtains, broken bathroom fan, poorly repaired security lock, and baseboard trim falling off. Wasn't very clean on arrival. There will be a card waiting for you on the bed when you arrive, offering for you to receive 500 starpoints if you forego housekeeping any given morning. Don't fall for it, it's just a dirty trick, you'll never see those starpoints. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was inadequate, it was impossible to even check e-mail. But you can pay for "premium" wi-fi. If this were a $50 motel, I wouldn't be so hard on it, but for these prices, you're going to want to keep driving and find something better.

I am impressed with the building, desk staff and pool. Rooms ok at this price point tho' bathrooms were definitely a click lower than similarly priced chain hotels. What i did not like is how unkept the hotel is. Windows and door windows smudged, dirt on carpets. The SPG lounge/club on the 8th floor was not very good. Cappuccino machine broken for days, no meat, no wine or cheeses. Eggs cooked rock hard every day. All in all this hotel will only get repeat business if it is properly managed, clean and offers a bit more to traveling business people

The hotel is in a great area. Lobby is nicely decorated. Upon checking in, I was upgraded to a suite. However, there was miscommunication between the front desk and house keeping. My suite was not clean yet, so I had to go down to front desk to get another room. I was put in a regular room at higher floor. No big deal for me since i was traveling alone. The front desk associate Will did provide me a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience, which is nice of him. The room is clean and bright. Wifi is good. Breakfast is buffer style and includes omelette, fruit, yogurt, egg, bacon, oatmeal, cereal, sausage and bread. The omelette and bacon are probably the better options of the buffet. The hotel has a big conference room that can host 2 weddings! Luckily i arrived on the date that the hotel had 200 check outs in the morning after 2 weddings and another event.

Room: stayed in room 739, good location, close to the elevator but not too close. Mini frig was a good size and the free bottles of water were a nice touch. Late check out is only an extra 1/2 hour, from 12 to 1230. Housekeeping: They did a fine job cleaning the room but they never replenished the soap or other items we used. Room Service: bad. The room service food was mediocre, and they didn't pay attention to detail. I asked for the bagel NOT toasted and received it toasted, I told them there were 2 people and they only delivered silverware and coffee cup for 1. Other: Elevators were constantly breaking. "Starbucks" kiosk was awful! They have ice coffee on the menu but they had no ice to make ice coffee. Most of the time they were out of coffee. the one time i was able to get coffee it was cold and they had to nuke it for me.

Having stayed in this hotel a few times over the years I can definitely say that things here are not headed in a positive direction. From the moment I checked in, I could here the front desk on the phone apologizing to guests for items missing or things not working properly. To begin with, the overall property is large, has a bar and restaurant and a make-shift space they use for a buffet breakfast. The fitness area is decent and the area has some good trails to run, if you're interested in that. However the bathroom seemed to be the biggest problem with neither sink nor bathtub draining properly, broken or chipped tiles that need repair and very few amenities. I stayed there on week and housekeeping did not once change that tiny bar of soap they give you. Yes, I could have called housekeeping but I just always seemed to be in the shower when I remembered. The buffet breakfast has not made me a loyal follower and the breakfast served in the Starwood Club Lounge has just the basics with alternating scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs with cheese and veggies, plus some fruit and coffee. Certainly good enough for a quick breakfast. But if you don't have access to the lounge, your breakfast options are limited. And I have never eaten at the restaurant so I can't say much about that. I think the "upkeep" of the property or lack of it, was the main observation that led me to give it 3 stars. With some improvements, I think this could once again be a solid industrial area hotel for business and conferences. Finally, when you express dissatisfaction and the front desk vows to have the general manager contact you, and then they don't, that adds to the perception that overall, they are not so customer-centric. Giving a few Starwood points here and there doesn't make up for a bad experience.

While in town for a family reunion we used our Sheraton points to stay at the Sheraton Lisle and were not disappointed. The hotel has many meeting and ballrooms for any large affairs that you might want to hold there. During our stay there was a religious youth convention with about 500 youth attending which made for a noisy lobby area but once away from the lobby it was like being in a library very quiet. Our room on the 8th floor was very comfortable , clean and quiet. There is a lounge area on the 8th floor for gold and platinum members with snacks in the evening and a continental breakfast in the morning. We did not use the bar lounge or restaurant on the ground floor but both looked very inviting and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
