I am impressed with the building, desk staff and pool. Rooms ok at this price point tho' bathrooms were definitely a click lower than similarly priced chain hotels. What i did not like is how unkept the hotel is. Windows and door windows smudged, dirt on carpets. The SPG lounge/club on the 8th floor was not very good. Cappuccino machine broken for days, no meat, no wine or cheeses. Eggs cooked rock hard every day. All in all this hotel will only get repeat business if it is properly managed, clean and offers a bit more to traveling business people

The hotel is in a great area. Lobby is nicely decorated. Upon checking in, I was upgraded to a suite. However, there was miscommunication between the front desk and house keeping. My suite was not clean yet, so I had to go down to front desk to get another room. I was put in a regular room at higher floor. No big deal for me since i was traveling alone. The front desk associate Will did provide me a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience, which is nice of him. The room is clean and bright. Wifi is good. Breakfast is buffer style and includes omelette, fruit, yogurt, egg, bacon, oatmeal, cereal, sausage and bread. The omelette and bacon are probably the better options of the buffet. The hotel has a big conference room that can host 2 weddings! Luckily i arrived on the date that the hotel had 200 check outs in the morning after 2 weddings and another event.

Room: stayed in room 739, good location, close to the elevator but not too close. Mini frig was a good size and the free bottles of water were a nice touch. Late check out is only an extra 1/2 hour, from 12 to 1230. Housekeeping: They did a fine job cleaning the room but they never replenished the soap or other items we used. Room Service: bad. The room service food was mediocre, and they didn't pay attention to detail. I asked for the bagel NOT toasted and received it toasted, I told them there were 2 people and they only delivered silverware and coffee cup for 1. Other: Elevators were constantly breaking. "Starbucks" kiosk was awful! They have ice coffee on the menu but they had no ice to make ice coffee. Most of the time they were out of coffee. the one time i was able to get coffee it was cold and they had to nuke it for me.

Having stayed in this hotel a few times over the years I can definitely say that things here are not headed in a positive direction. From the moment I checked in, I could here the front desk on the phone apologizing to guests for items missing or things not working properly. To begin with, the overall property is large, has a bar and restaurant and a make-shift space they use for a buffet breakfast. The fitness area is decent and the area has some good trails to run, if you're interested in that. However the bathroom seemed to be the biggest problem with neither sink nor bathtub draining properly, broken or chipped tiles that need repair and very few amenities. I stayed there on week and housekeeping did not once change that tiny bar of soap they give you. Yes, I could have called housekeeping but I just always seemed to be in the shower when I remembered. The buffet breakfast has not made me a loyal follower and the breakfast served in the Starwood Club Lounge has just the basics with alternating scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs with cheese and veggies, plus some fruit and coffee. Certainly good enough for a quick breakfast. But if you don't have access to the lounge, your breakfast options are limited. And I have never eaten at the restaurant so I can't say much about that. I think the "upkeep" of the property or lack of it, was the main observation that led me to give it 3 stars. With some improvements, I think this could once again be a solid industrial area hotel for business and conferences. Finally, when you express dissatisfaction and the front desk vows to have the general manager contact you, and then they don't, that adds to the perception that overall, they are not so customer-centric. Giving a few Starwood points here and there doesn't make up for a bad experience.

While in town for a family reunion we used our Sheraton points to stay at the Sheraton Lisle and were not disappointed. The hotel has many meeting and ballrooms for any large affairs that you might want to hold there. During our stay there was a religious youth convention with about 500 youth attending which made for a noisy lobby area but once away from the lobby it was like being in a library very quiet. Our room on the 8th floor was very comfortable , clean and quiet. There is a lounge area on the 8th floor for gold and platinum members with snacks in the evening and a continental breakfast in the morning. We did not use the bar lounge or restaurant on the ground floor but both looked very inviting and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Quick trip to visit son and shop I opted for the Express Deal with Priceline. They had a convention going on so lots of people peppered the lobby and halls. Pool and facility was nice but no hot tub was a disappointment as we prefer pool to a free breakfast. Towels weren't stocked so had to use workout room hand towels afterward. Nice hotel room and was clean but noisy neighbors spoiled our Saturday morning stay. Probably pic a different hotel to be sure we have the hot tub next time.

This is the nicest Sheraton I’ve stayed at in a while. I'd stayed at this hotel under prior name and have a before and after perspective. The upgrade was nicely done. But housekeeping was poor (which a problem under prior management). There was hair on window sill and counters and furniture was dusty. The food was good at our dinner meeting. The chef even came out. But the hotel was ill prepared for the lunch crowd on the first day. They did accommodate and set up a buffet on the second day which was tasty; it just needed to be hotter. The concierge/executive lounge was one of the worst. Breakfast was only one dish which they ran out of; and evening food was just chips and dips, no meats or salad.

This property has greatly improved since it changed from the Wyndham brand to Sheraton. The room was a bit cramped for the two queen option, but not terrible. I am sure the king rooms are better. Beds were clean and comfortable with nice linens. Bathroom functioned well, although still a bit small. There is only so much they can do with the existing footprint of the rooms, as the building itself it a little older property - still well kept up and decorated. We stayed new years eve night and were actually surprised at how quite the room was - especially just off the elevator. Heard a few late revelers, but not bad at all. Someone actually had there wedding there on new years eve - service, dinner and reception - great idea - no one even had to leave the property once they checked in. Overall it is a nice hotel. Only negative for us was although the pool was renovated, it did not include a hot tub. Still better than when it was under Wyndham management when they just filled the old hot tub with concrete, tiled over it and called it a day - looked like a tomb. Sheraton fixed that and it looks much better.

I stayed in the Sheraton for a conference. The staff were helpful from the beginning. When I booked my three night stay, there were no double rooms available the second night. I was told to call a few days before the conference. I called the 1-800 number but they said all of the rooms were full. I called the hotel and the manager was able to change my reservation. My co-worker called to find out about transportation and they told us we could save money by reserving a taxi to/from O'Hare in advance. The hotel also had a free shuttle that would drive guests within five miles. This allowed us to eat at restaurants in Lisle without taking a cab. The conference rooms were very nice.

The new owners of this hotel have put in a lot of money into tenovating the lobby and guest rooms. This was a dated property a few years ago, under the Wyndham brand; but since it is conveniently located for our family and business partners visiting us, we kept referring folks there. The professional staff and ambiance make this hotel a new favorite amongst our visiting guests.
