Our trip was great with the exception of being told the pool was closed and come to find out the next morning while checking out that this was false.

My experience was horrible. Room smell bad had dishes dirty , dangerous broken outlets. No recommended

The rooms were very clean and the staff were very polite and attentive.

I stayed one night while attending a conference in Schaumburg. The location is convenient to Renaissance Convention center, Woodfield Mall, etc. The rooms are private and quiet, and the breakfast was very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this Homewood Suits to everyone. Very good value!

If you do not mind taking a 50 minute train ride each way into Chicago this is a great hotel. It is near everything. Every store is within 10 min drive. The rail station in 15 min drive. There are loads of vegetarian restaurants. Word of advice though request an upper level room, and you hear everything from the room above

Everything was great. Only issues was no Jacuzzi & the Salad Nite dinner did not live up to past lite meals.

Our family stayed in the hotel for 24 days in July 2013, while we had a family retreat over the summer in Schaumburg, where we used to live for several years. Since I have 2 years and 8 years old children, family value was the #1 priority and the hotel met and even somewhat exceeded my expectation. The hotel was more like a small condominium with the layout itselt, foods are home-made style, staffs are friendly, kitchen facility are well maintained, outdoor swimming pool was OK for children, and many other good things. If I should mention some downsides, the rooms are a little small and stink, laundary was not as clean as other facilities. All in all, I will seriously consider to stay here for the next trip.

All I have to say is, I will not be staying there again. The carpet in the room was filthy. Multiple stains on itmy husband and I had to put some of our towels on the floor to walk on. The breakfast was mediocre.

While I have a hard time giving 5 stars for a non-luxury hotel, this place was well-worth the money for what it was. The suite was plenty large with a full kitchen, high-quality bed linens, 2 large TV's, a decent outdoor pool, hot tub and basketball court. We had a great time and the location is hard to beat!

Our family had a very enjoyable long weekend in the Schaumberg/Chicago area. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. The daily included breakfast was good, with a lot of variety for kids and adults. Would stay here again and recommend to others!

We brought our children to Chicago for the first time. Our girls are 15, and twins that are 6.5 We loved the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was very nice. Hotel staff were very helpful.

We visted the Medidieval Times dinner theater.

Very good value. Overall nothing special, but that is okay considering the price. Clean, albeit a bit dated rooms, decent breakfast, and helpful staff. You can't expect more at this price point.

very nice hotel, very clean, very good breakfast, I would definitely love to stay here next time round too

I stayed here while in town visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm originally from this area, but now live out of state. I think Schaumburg in general is a great town to stay in, because it's near so many things, and close to the Expressways. I would stay at this hotel again -- very clean, room was cozy, and the complimentary breakfast is good. To folks that are not familiar with the greater Chicago area: if you don't want to spend the extra $$ to stay in downtown Chicago, stay in Schaumburg. There are tons of things to do (Woodfield, lots of restaurants) and easy access to both the expressways and the Metra train station.

This has been my preferred hotel wheneven I am in Schaumburg. Bbreakfast is very good and rooms are quiet and clean and spacious. Gives me a comfort of home and lets me concentrate on the business. Overall a very positive experience.

This is a very nice place. The dog area could be a little bigger but other than that the rooms were clean, great location and awesome breakfast served daily and dinner was good to but only served Mon - Thurs., this is more than any hotel i have ever stayed at.

Great shopping at the Woodfield Mall and a wide choice of high quality dining options. Highly recommend Yanni's for Greek cuisine on E. Algonquin RD.

Stayed at Homewood during a conference at the Schaumburg convention center. Great location. Nice rooms and great meals. Staff were very friendly...however... I reserved a non-smoking room (or so I thought) [...] and received a smoking room. The staff were nice, but promised to move us to a non-smoking room for our second night. The second day we got back to the hotel, ready for a new room and the staff had no idea and there were no non-smoking rooms available. They apologized, but any non-smoker knows how uncomfortable it is to have to stay in a room that smells like smoke. Other than that, it was a great hotel and we really enjoyed the free breakfast and dinner.
