We arrived around 8pm and were given a key and we went off to our room. The lobby is impressive, but the rooms are not. While not terrible, they were nothing impressive. The furniture is worn and the television had very few channels, many of which didn't work. Once we arrived in our room we found we were given a double rather than a king. No one bothered to tell us this at the desk. So then we had to go back to discuss this and we were told by multiple people that they had no king rooms available and that room types were not guaranteed if they were booked through a third party. I emphasized how important the king type was to us, and after entirely too long suddenly they were able to accommodate us. This is insanity and it makes me hesitant to ever book a hotel through Orbitz or another similar site again.

We stayed overnight on a Friday to see a late night comedy show at Woodfield Mall - beautiful lobby, friendly staff, nice amenities. My only complaint is that for paying a good amount of money, there wasn't at least a continental breakfast included. Oh, and the restaurant and bar close at 11 which seemed early and there was no fridge in our room so we couldn't store food or drinks for after what seemed the entire area closed at midnight. Would stay again.

I've stayed here twice for conferences. It is very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a very big, nice pool for indoor laps and kids to play, as well as an outdoor pool.

Hotel and staff were wonderful. Bed was uncomfortable and noise of the staff at 1:00 a.m. Couldn't sleep.

The room was dusty and my toilet didn't work. Was only given one wash towel had to ask for more.

This hotel was niceee and cozy oh and not to mention near everything

They had excellent room service. Catered to our needs well. Rooms were a tad small but adequate.

All the services staffs at check in are rude in most of the Hyatt hotel,I don't know why but checked in both locations they all the same with bad attitude. With the price you paid you need good service and more modern hotel. Now a day the hotel still had popcorn ceiling that is bad. Lotion are old like been expired date horrible in both locations as well.

The keys didn't work and they had to send someone to change the batteries of the lock which wasn't that bad but why wouldn't they fix that problem before. On Orbitz it said breakfast included when I booked but it wasn't when I got there

The breakfast buffet is NOT worth 20$. You've got to be kidding me. I am glad I had a breakfast voucher or I would have made a complaint. There were no sugar free options, like jams and syrups for people like me who are diabetic or have to watch their blood sugar. You have NO non fat yogurts either, and I love yogurt for breakfast. Also, how about to-go boxes? Myself and I am sure others are there for business and don't have the time or even want to have to sit down and eat amongst strangers when we are in a hurry. And have to deal with a waiter, where they make you feel guilty and need to tip (which I didn't). I just want to grab a hot meal and go.

It would have been nice to know that this hotel was under renovation. The good news or is it more bad news its because the hotel needs a renovation.

We booked this hotel because it showed that it was very close to the city but when we landed and put it on the gps it was 45 minutes away from the city, we try to get placed somewhere else but we couldn't. Hotel wasn't bad, there are plazas near by it with shipping stores and restaurants but nothing impressive.

cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff. everyone was very nice and helpful. a definite asset! the room was average, assumed it to be bigger. the hotel seemed like an old converted building but with little charm. the pool was not clean and seemed to be in serious need of maintenance. we normally swim everyday, we went once. breakfast buffet was very good!

it was a very nice stay. we stayed there for a place to sleep and then continue our trip. i love the eniviromment.

Located just North of Woodfield mall, this hotel is very convenient. The staff was super friendly, room was spacious, and room was very clean. All in all a very restful night.

It was a holiday weekend and the hotel was full. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and simply could not handle the groups that were staying there. But this is Hyatt Regency. The brand definitely means quality. In this case, they clearly failed miserably.

There were 5 members of the family staying that weekend to celebrate our grandsons birthday.

Our experience at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg was incredible. The guest service is awesome, and amenties were fantastic. The total experience, will definitely translate into a return visit!

Great service and amenities. The room was perfectly clean and tidy with Extremely comfortable beds which lead to a great stay.

the stay was comfortable and the staff friendly. parking is little further away from the door. room was clean and well maintained.
