Staff support? Hah! There was no staff support. The woman who checked me in was in such a frenzy she repeated the same instructions to me 4 times. When I pointed this out to her, she simply shook her head. When I asked for a handicapped room she said "OK and then gave me a room 1/2 mile past the elevator., which was certainly not handicapped accessible. When I asked for assistance with my bags and walker her response to me was "We're working on it. "I also asked that my room be cleaned and for fresh towels the next day. That was another laugh. My room was exactly as I left it at 9:30 in the morning.. I received a message from Fernando asking me to come down to Reception and ask for him so that we could discuss my issues. Is a handicapped person supposed to make special trips to complain about poor service? I was angry then and I'm angry now. It will be a very long time before I stay in any Hilton Hotel again. I consider that I paid for 2 rooms (my fault) in a sloppy, poorly managed organization.
