Residence Inn by Marriott O'Hare

Recent guest reviews

This is a very nice hotel located close to O'Hare airport. It is comfortable, spacious and moderately priced. I will look forward to staying here again.

The pool was great! It was clean, and felt like a little piece of paradise. There are two small garden displays and an outdoor barbeque and gazebo area. It felt like a resort more than ahotel. Our room was much more than we expected. We had a dishwasher, a full wrap around couch, and a large desk in our room. It felt like a home away from home. The only thing it was missing was a safe in the room.

Great location and morning breakfast. Room was clean and close to the L train.

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening and flew out very early the next day, so we didn't take advantage of anything other than the beds and bathrooms. There were 5 adults, so we got a suite. We had to leave before the shuttle started or any breakfast was available. Cab ride was not very expensive. Felt safe leaving my car in the lot. The only issue I would like them to address is their staff could not provide good directions on where to catch the shuttle from the airport. A simple map to hand people would be nice.

Everything is excellent, warm welcomed stuffs, comfortable room, beautiful circumstances. I look forward to next trip here.

The hotel staff was friendly & courteous, and the room was clean & comfortable.

First, the hotel tried to renege on the reservation we had made for a one-bedroom unit, claiming there were none available and that the reservation error was the fault of the travel site we used (this one) to make the reservation. Eventually, they gave up in the face of our insistence that they honor the reservation and gave us what we had booked. The fold-out couch, which we needed, had no linens on it, we had to make the bed ourselves, and the sofa bed was all springs. Cleaning staff did a poor job of replacing needed items, leaving behind their own cleaning materials, etc. Some of the chairs in the room had stains on them. The breakfast was fine and the proximity to the airport, which we needed, made it a very convenient place to stay, and free wifi was also appreciated, but there are many other hotels in the same area. I would not go back to this hotel.

Spent 5 nights while working a trade show nearby. Room was clean and surprisingly quiet, given the proximity to O'Hare airport. Staff was very pleasant and the breakfast buffet (and the coffee) was great. I'd recommend this facility.

Needed a room for 4 guests. Chose this hotel because of the great deal that was promoted. Was in a good location, with restaurants in walking distance. Would highly recommend this property for any event you would see at the Allstate Arena, as it is walking distance to the arena. The room was like a small studio apartment. There was a small kitchen, and a large flat screen t.v., plenty of room to move around. Everything appeared clean, no strange smells, bed was comfortable. There was a pull out sofa as well...obviously that mattress was on the thin side. All and all, a great choice for the money and location. P.S. Nice free continental breakfast with several choices. Coffee available in the lobby 24/7.

I just basically needed a hotel for a night I was working most of the day from the room it was very quiet no complaints but this deal included dinner and I asked prior to reservation if they will have something for vegetarians and it turns out to be there was nothing I could possibly eat besides a bun and slice of chese with lettuce. Otherwise it was all good

Very clean, friendly staff. Walk to Rosemont and restaurants.

close to allstate arena clean and great location great service

water problems both days I was there - no hot water one morning and water turned off completely during part or both days, once while I had a mouthful of toothpaste! Breakfasts were nice but dinners lacking. For the price, I'd expected better. Maybe I'm just out of touch these days...

Our stay was above and beyond one of the best stays ever. Rooms were very neat and roomy, very clean and comfortable. Staff was awesome, great assistance, being we didn't book to have our car to stay at the hotel until we got back from Pittsburgh, the gal at the front desk, helped us out and gave us a pass to keep the car until we got back 5 days later. Very impressed with all personal, thru-out the whole hotel, from front desk help, to shuttle pick-up driver, to all the people that helped in the lobby and helped with the great "BBQ night" when we were there. Hats off to all of you, will definitely consider your hotel for another stay. 5 star all the way :)

Even though this hotel is 100% nonsmoking, I found my bathrooms in the first room I was in to be very smokey at least twice an hour from 1AM to 3PM when they allowed me to switch rooms after complaining multiple times. I guess they were having trouble finding who was smoking. The first room I was in also had cleanliness problems: there were many dried-up noodles visible under the couch, and a long ring of soap scum in the bathtub I tried to take a bath in. However, this hotel is within easy walking distance of the Allstate Arena, and has good free breakfasts M-U and good free dinners M-R. Overall, however, this hotel was not worth the price. There are a few other hotels within walking distance of the Allstate Arena that I would try instead.

We had a two bed room two bathroom suite, it felt like we each had our own room. The kitchen was complete which was nice. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly.

Perfect fit for what we needed in chicago. Very close to resturants and shopping with in walking distance. Also easy to find from interstate. Rosemont seems to be a safe and friendly city, we were there with our grand children and we felt safe to be able to walk around outside the hotel.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom. for a family flying out of O hare in the morning this was a perfect hotel. Free dinner! Free breakfast. Shuttle was on time. Overall - great experience.

Everything was good, except no hot water for showers.

There were some items missing from room & we let front desk know: remote control for one TV, dish detergent and dish towel in kitchen, no local literature (where to eat, etc.) Really appreciated the great Laundry Room facilities!! Very clean room and well-kept landscaping.
