Crowne Plaza Hotel Chicago O'Hare

It was a really nice hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable. Room was very nice and clean. Location is within walking distance of restaurants and it's directly across the street from the Rosemont Theatre. My only complaint was that the "late night room service" was pre-made cold sandwiches that you had to walk down to the lobby to get yourself. That is a marketplace, not room service. Also, they overcharged my daughter and it cost me $20 for one cold sandwich.

Some parts seem a little dated. Rent a microwave, no. No spa. Pretty quiet considering location. Printer broke so no boarding pass. Resterant ok but limited menu.

My husband and I were at the Crowne Plaza for the 2017 Godzilla Convention, which was held there. The king room was well appointed, with a coffee maker, refrigerator, safe and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was average. The hotel had a nice bar and a very good restaurant, that made stone-fired pizzas. We ordered an 8" and it was excellent. It also had a Starbucks and a breakfast that was included in the room price. It was a typical breakfast buffet, and the fruit was so good. The hotel featured a great pool and had a gift shop located as you went toward the elevators. I would definitely book here again.

The staff were excellent, accommodating our early arrival and making sure we were taken care of.

Convenient to airport and convention center. Nothing else in walking distance really. Pool is inside only and air conditioning is SKETCHY!

Very close to airport and Rosemont exhibition center with easy access to restaurants, etc. in the area. Good value.

Short stay with family. No problems at all. This review process keeps requesting more information.

Staff was super nice! Airport shuttle was free and super convenient for a first time visitor. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay and the hotel staff was amazing. The hotel was very clean and was very close to the convention center.

The room was a corner room and it was very cold! I was uncomfortable and could not sleep. So I wanted to cover myself with a blanket but the blanket in the room was so thin that it didn't work! I am a person who does not complain, so I didn't call the Front desk about it. I had an early morning flight the next day, a very long flight and I just folded the thin blanket, made it double but still as the room was so cold I had a very uncomfortable night. This hotel does not even include breakfast! All other hotels in the area do. This was the first time I stayed at the Crowne Plaza, and I did not like it, and will never ever stay there again. My money was such a waste! I paid for it in advance, in the end was a victim who had a bad stay.

Very nice rooms. Staff could be a little more friendly.

Enjoyed my stay but would have like a microwave in room and more gluten options.

I felt like being at home away from home, except the bed was so much more comfortable than home. I couldn't wait to go to sleep each night!

You can park once. Walk to everything and get your parking validated at dinner.

I would totally recommend this hotel. I was there for a seminar, & really liked my room. It was clean, well taken care of, quiet, & the hotel staff were wonderful!

Had 4 stars, bar, restaurant, pool. Thought it was going to be great meh Bar is long and thin and not much fun. Only 1 TV so not good for the game, menu is very limited at the bar - soup is always French Onion. Staff is pleasant, but not very engaging - you're not going to discuss anything there - you feel lonely as a business traveler. Baked brie comes out looking like soft boiled eggs in ranch dressing. Spinach salad is good, but the dressing is clearly from a nearby school cafeteria. Turkey wrap w avocado good. Bar closes at 11 so if your meetings run late and you just want to take a glass of wine up to your room - some nights it works, other it doesn't. Cabs readily available, near mall of some sort, still in Hotel Land near airport so a good time is at least $40 cab ride away. Clean - good coffee maker in room - refrig, no minibar Plugging in is horrible - you have to unplug something to plug your stuff in, so one light might not work, or bring an extension cord if you ever want to work like Hugh Heffner from your bed. Not enough plugs for phone, ipad and laptop, oh well

Our Summer Sizzler was held here and we had never flown into Chicago O'Hare. You made it simple for me, as we say KISS-keep it simple and sane. First of all, after flying in, we had a wonderful Shuttle from Crowne Plaza O'Hare that met me near Bagage Claim and Free of Charge to take me to the Hotel. Even better was that every 30 minutes it arrived and I didn't have to call anyone. The check in experience was uncomplicated and the room cold not have been better than it was. We had a small conference area, 2 queen beds, and the bathroom was updated and gave me ideas of what to change about my three. Lighting in the room was excellent down to reading lights over the beds, not to bother your roommate. I can only comment on the breakfast buffet, because that was all I ate, but it was delicious and everything was offered that normal people would eat. (I say that only because I am an abnormal breakfast eater.) Chicago's Fashion Outlet is located across the street which offered a wealth of buys, although I was only window shopping because God has given me what I need before I ask for it. The shopping gave us many ideas as well as exercise. Many restaurants are available within walking distance and the weather even cooperated. If you want to venture further there is Huber or taxi available. Returning to the airport from Crowne Plaza O'Hare was just a simple, with the added pleasure that I believe Chicago has the most efficient and courteous airport to which I have been.

Close to the airport. The fashion outlets of Chicago is across the street. The room was comfortable. Parking is $25/day
