Poor customer service at this location. Loud noises outside of room area were constant. Personel needs re-training by experts who care about their business property. The phones in the room does not work.
Gave me the wrong rioom, had no towels and no blanket.
The workers were very nice. I had someone with me that had a walker and they did not have double beds on the first floor; very inconvenient. I also did not like the area at all. The rooms need a major update for the cost.

Terrible hotel, beds with old nasty sheets. Disgusting bathroom. Poor service. I will never stay at any of red roof hotel again. They lie to people with the pictures, well nice work from the photographer. Hate this hotel.
The air conditioner just stopped working overnight and the room was hot. There looks to be fire damage on the roof. The sink had a strange smell coming from it.
It was very inexpensive, and we got what we paid for.
We had a 12 day reservation and could only get keys for a maximum of 5 days at a time.
Nasty floors frig was nasty and didn't get cold hard beds smelly. Just wasn't comfortable at all !false advertisemadvertisement room didn't look at all like advertise! Would have left had not paid before I seen it!

The room was not horrible but it's definitely time for some renovations. The room was not the cleanest. Comforters had stains and may not have been cleaned, the pillow cases were dirty had to take them off. The sheets and comforter in a non-smoking room had burns in them. Underneath the beds had dirt, cigarette boxes and an old slipper. The shower curtain had an old stain like blood. A loud creaky mattress. The dryer was $2.75 for 20 mins and needed to be on for an hour plus to dry leggings. All these things I may come to expect from a cheap family owned motel, but not a red roof inn.
In route to Chicago we stopped at the Red Roof in Lancing for the night. The floor seems never has been cleaned. Sheets are cheaply made- my hair even got static... Loud music and noises from the hallway all night. Might as well spend a bit more to stay in a more decent hotel branch.
Unfortunately they checked me into a room with no heat. It was a chilling 20 degrees in Chicago that night. When I got I got the room it was cold. I turned the heat all the way up and laid on the bed because I was exhausted. Fell asleep and woke up freezing.
