After reserving days earlier my room was canceled the night before my stay.I received a normal rate by doing this in advance. Trying to rebook the rates had doubled due to the Holiday weekend.I contacted Orbits and you tried booking another room. Everything booked in my area.Ended up sleeping in my car.

It could be a little bit quieter and less expensive.

Nice

Clean, friendly service, had the basics, but no shampoo and conditioner

The housekeeping staff does a really good job at ensuring the rooms are clean, bed linens are fresh and beds made very neatly. This is a Motel6, so there are zero frills to these establishments. They do provide 2 small bars of soap, and thats pretty much it. I did notice in the vending machine that there are a very select few "toiletries"...however no shampoo and conditioner. If by chance you do not have or forgot to pack everyday items, there is a Walmart and Meijer within walking distance. Also, there are 2 gas stations, BP and a Shell at the corners of Algonquin and Arlington Heights Rd where you can pick up beverages, snacks and last minute essentials.

Very clean rooms. Easy check-in. BUT tell the housekeepers DO NOT come knocking on the door asking when the CUSTOMER is leaving. No other hotel has ever had such disregard for the paying customer. If checkout time is 11am, then thats the time I'm leaving...if i decide to stay, the front desk will ensure notification of a stayover. Also, if i want my room tended to, again the front desk agent will inform the housekeeping staff. Otherwise... leave me the heck alone!

I give credit to the housekeepers at this location for an exceptionally clean room. Check-in was seamless and the older lady that works overnight was pleasant and very welcoming at my 4:30am arrival, she even accomodated my request for an extra blanket. The only negative that i have to point out is the RUDE & UNNECESSARY knocking on the door by the head housekeeper/manager at 10:50am...which is not even checkout time, asking if n when im leaving!! I absolutely HATED that. It is completely uncalled for and made me feel uneasy and that im supposed to hurry up and rapidly gather my things so im out of the room at approximately 11am on the dot, and not a second later. If i decide to stay over an extra night she would be informed by the front desk of my stay over, if she doesn't get that message then that means the customer is checking out..simple and logical. Needless to say even though i was ready to leave, i took my sweet time putting on my shoes and giving my room a once over to ensure i had everything and exited my room at 11:13am. DO NOT rush the customer, DO NOT ruin my experience, DO NOT make me feel hurried and frantic like i am supposed to answer to a drill sergeant if im running a few moments behind schedule. I am a paying customer, PERIOD. So i would suggest they loosen up the noose and stop bothering people and knocking on doors because one day that may backfire on them. Lighten up.

Coffee, vinding machines to far away.. No internet,or computer avilable for plain tickets

HORRID staff EXCEPT FOR JAIME extremely rude customer service @ 0! Ther have been bought into the negatives after locking me out room, refusing to react card

Housekeeping does an above average job on the rooms, and in public areas. I would suggest placing garbage cans in the hallways so that people could dispose of their to-go food containers and such, as the tiny garbage cans in the rooms hold nothing more than a few empty coffee cups. Because of this the guest is required to go outside and locate a large can OR deal with having these items kept in the room. Either way, it's an inconvenience. Also, the entire parking lot is ATROCIOUS!! It is absolutely terrible trying to manuever throughout the lot in fear of landing in a "sink-hole" or causing MAJOR damage to your vehicle...struts, suspension, rocker arms, puncturing a tire, bottoming out, etc... I think you'd have better luck walking blindly thru a mine field! Seriously, this needs to be fixed ASAP, unless of course M6 would like to take on the responsibility of paying for any automobile damage than may incur while driving through THEIR PROPERTY.

I guess I fell for the standard motel trick. Yes we have WiFi!! But once you are checked in you find out it’s not in your room so you have to stand in the hallway or sit in the lobby for WiFi.

Please fix the parking lot!!! It's like driving thru a minefield.

The house keeping at this location is excellent. Very clean, smelled nice & fresh, beds made perfectly and overall felt comfortable. No large garbage cans in hallway makes for a tad of an inconvenience due to having to walk outside to dispose of larger food containers, etc. Also, I don't know why after all the complaints over time their parking lot is absolutely the WORST! Driving thru that lot is intense. I go less than 3mph because I refuse to ruin my tires, my rims, my undercarriage, my shocks/struts, anything. This is a huge problem having pithes, sunken concrete, craters, deep holes where the drain system is angled sharply where you could easily pop a tire. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Rooms are very clean, in my opinion housekeeping does a great job! I wish there were garbage cans in the hallway & I'm unsure as to why there are none, but it would be convenient to dispose of larger articles (empty 2liters, deliver/takeout containers, etc), instead of having to search for a garbage can outside. Also, the parking lot is ATROCIOUS!!!

Rooms are quite clean and kept up neatly. Parking lot is the absolute WORST.
