The towels had stains. Thank goodness I brought my own towels. The shower had hair on the shower walls. The chairs was dirty. The pool look disgusting. The room for Landry had left over clothes. Terrible. I will never go back to this place.

SEVERE roach problem. Couldn't put anything on the floor. Carpet was so dirty you could feel it through your socks.

roaches.

Dilapidated, everything very old, carpet wet, non smoking room smelled like smoke! Horrible!!! Pool closed and looked like its been closed for years!

Terrible describes it well. The pool was being "repaired", although by the looks of the cover and surrounding area, this repair process has been ignored a long time. It's the mid-summer, plan better. The corridors smell bad, the rooms smell bad, the elevator smells worse. Speaking of the elevator, there were signs warning you to be gentle with the buttons, to only press once. While moving our stuff in we got stuck in the elevator. I called the front desk and he had to come switch the breaker a couple of times to get the door to open. Next day, "out of order" sign appeared. One of the beds sunk in the middle like a hammock tied to trees that are too close to each other. Sticky spots on carpets in our room that your shoes stuck to when you walked over it. Breakfast was bagels, coffee, mini muffins, and fruit loops or Frosted Flakes. No milk. No sign of refilling it. The man at the counter was on his phone every time I approached the desk. He was disinterested and I felt like I was bothering him just being there. No customer service skills at all. I went to nearby hotels after getting stuck in the elevator, looking to NOT stay here. The ONLY reason we stayed - other rooms were over three times the price. I went to Walmart, bought my own towels and some bottled water, and gave my son a pep-talk; "We can do this!" We survived, spent VERY little time there, and will not go back. The air conditioner and hot water worked well. That is the only positive thing I can think of.

I stayed there because it was only 35min away from chicago loop (without taking the toll roads: no traffic jam + it is quite a nice sight) and I didn't want to spend 100+bucks on a hotel downtown. Here I only paid 38$ per night (october). Now did I get enough for my money? definitely! staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and I slept fine(and that is the most important to me). The breakfast was included but was very basic. The only bad thing was that weird people seem to hang around the area a lot after office hours. Although the staff seemed ok with it, I felt a bit uncomfortable when I was going back late at night. Will I stay there again? only if I don't feel like spending extra bucks and I need to be in chicago early in the morning.

Filthy and liars on their star rating. Watch out. They will give you a hard time for a refund.

The hotel is located in the hood. Watch out for your belongings!! The hotels rugs are soil filthy. When we enter our room, the dust is thick, and bugs allover the place. The tiles are crack and seems like blood from bugs whack by a flip flap exist on the walls. We did not stay more than 10 minutes. We told the desk person (3rd shift) that we are cancelling our reservation as the hotel misrepresented their status (2-star). This hotel will not pass heath agency inspection let alone a 2 star. Be careful. They will give you a hard time giving refund and would lie to whoever saying that you use the room much to the story of the shift supervisor. That means staff are liars ,too!

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff was very friendly. I chose a non smoking room and was overwhelmed by the amount of smoke seeping into my room so much so I had to open the window for ventilation. The carpet had stains on it and so did the bedding. I could see fingerprints and smudging all over the desk and appliances. It looked as if a toddler scribbled all over the front of the bathroom door and as far as the property being secure... anyone could walk in and have access to the floors. I have never stayed in a hotel that was below decent and I guess there's a first time for everything. I don't recommend this hotel at all, it's a waste of money, rest, and peace of mind!!! I want a refund!!!!

The worst hotel I every stayed at . I will never go back here again

Our stay was good the employees were all friendly it was clean and close to everything!

great i woild stay again thhe room was clean everthing i need it

The hotel is great if you are looking for a budget stay!! Breakfast kind of misses most of the items and all but you can get it by going and asking at the reception.

The tub filled up as we showered, had to request maintenance. The toilet paper holder was falling off, and they didn't fix it until the 5th day. We stayed a week. The picture above the bed has $15 written in marker on it. The armoir top drawer had no bottom. We were informed at check-in that this was a newly remodeled room. They didn't clean the room and said it was because there was a "do not disturb" sign on the door. We NEVER saw one in the room the entire week!!! The coffee pot was mostly empty. The laundry room was not in service.

You get what you pay for... it was a cheap hotel for the area, but the room was dirty and had several issues. The toilet had been used and not flushed when I got into the room, the toilet paper roll was empty, and two of the four lamps in the room didn't work. When I arrived, the staff was accommodating but not overly friendly. I felt unsafe as I got to the third floor. It was dimly lit and there were people sitting in the hallway. I assumed they were guests at the hotel, but I ended up just going in my room and locking myself in until the morning. A friend informed me that he stayed down the street at another chain and it was much nicer (and similarly priced). A word of advice? Stay elsewhere.

The exterior was nice, but the inside needed work. There are many things that need to be addressed. First, the exterior doors didn't have locks on them. There was handle, but I didn't need to use my key card open it. The latch was missing. These is a security issue. Next, the elevator was broken. Granted you do not use an elevator when a building is on fire, but it should function on any given day. Next, the TV remote didn't work and I had to make a trip down stairs to get a new one. The pillows were really small, for a king bed, this place had these little kiddie pillows, so I had to another trip down the stairs. Please keep in mind the elevator is still broken. Next, the bathrrom floor was sticky, it made me uneasy, and there was only one towel. Now I give the staff credit, they brought me extra towels. But, the cleaning staff needs to do a better job. I would say spend the extra money and get a nicer place some where else.

The front desk people are very friendly & helpful. The room is clean & an ideal place to stay close to the plant I'm working at.
