Rooms are very quiet, no noise from adjacent rooms or late night partiers in the hallway. Staff was friendly, food was decent. Some maintenance issues in the bathroom, i.e. missing grout around the bathtub but everything was clean. There are a large variety of restaurants within walking distance and lots of free parking. Very convenient especially if you don't have rental car while traveling.
Great hotel! Excellent location and I loved that the movie theater was literally right next door. Also, the pantry had items available so I didn't have to go out to a store, like wine, beer, and some food when you get late night munchies.
Good location, free parking, decent gym (and there's a pool but I didn't use it), quiet, slightly below standard breakfast for a HGI except the "breakfast potatoes" were crazy good! BUT, on half of the days they weren't fresh, so they were pretty much inedible. Our room was mostly clean, but everything could have used and extra wipe down. Free cookies in the lobby at 5pm! We checked in with Dominic who was super nice.
We spent one night on our way to Hilton Head South Carolina and with our evening arrival and early departure a complimentary breakfast would have been a nice addition. Very nice gentleman checked us in and easy and fast checkout. Room was clean.
I've stayed at this hotel several times for business over the past few years and it's always excellent. The staff is great, plenty of nearby restaurants and bars - and even other things to do like bowling, take in a show, etc. Recommend this hotel and the area!
My husband and I did a weekend getaway!Very professional and friendly customer service.Staff was able to provide early check-in which was a plus! Our room was very clean and smelled fresh! No complaints here!
Friendly and warm staff, clean and inviting property. Walking distance of restaurants and shops. My husband and I stopped here on the way to Columbia for parents weekend. It was a very quiet and positive experience.
This was a great trip! The staff was friendly at check in and check out! The room was clean and smelled fresh. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. It was close to everything and just a short way to Carowinds! It met our needs for sure!
I have stayed at other Hilton Garden's and this was towards the top. Brand new property which is nice to begin. Very quiet. Never once heard someone else's door slam shut, not any noise from the hallway, but perhaps being all the way at the end of the hallway had something to do with it. Nice comfortable bed and above average shower which to me is very important. Excellent service at the front desk. I had dinner one night and drinks with an associate the others. Destiny was the bartender and she is a doll. Real nice woman that makes sure her customers are happy. I will be back to this hotel next month, and will look forward to my trip. One other real nice aspect of this hotel is their location. Brand new area surrounded by a bunch of very nice restaurants. I went to Saffron for very good Indian food. There was quite a few others, including Henry's that my associate ate at the night before and said was very good. About 15 minutes from the airport and close to my office in Charlotte. No doubt this will become my go-to hotel when in Charlotte.
I stayed at this property several times in the past. My issues have been Housekeeping towels and washcloths have hair in them as well as hair on the comforter. I had taken pictures to send to management in an email. To my surprise the Manager Kate Leonard was less than accommodating. She never reached out to me personally face to face or by phone she sends me an email stating since I’ve had issues regarding Housekeeping maybe I should stay someplace else. I’m black, she isn’t and in the society in which we live I expect being disregarded from time to time. I am a Diamond Guest with Hilton Honors. I don’t ask for much just a clean room and amenities. I wonder had I been Caucasian had her response been different. At any rate I contacted the Diamond Desk with Hilton and made them aware of this incident. The hotel need to be renovated the carpets are disgusting especially on the elevator it smells horrible. Most importantly the manager is horrible and her communication skills are the worst. She doesn’t have worry with me ever going back there and I advise anyone that like cleanliness not to stay here. Hilton has great locations and properties this just isn’t one of them.
