Cook's Wall Cabin

The Cook's Wall Cabin was a clean, very relaxing place to stay before hiking at Hanging Rock State Park. The view of the mountain from the gazebo was great, as was the unobstructed view of the night stars. Hosts were friendly and communicative, providing many suggestions of things to do in area. WiFi was excellent throughout the property. I'd definitely book again.

Great little place

So cozy. Toilet/shower area is very small. But perfect if you’re staying with a spouse/significant other. The porch is adorable, bed comfy. Perfect little place.

Cozy and clean

Seeming at first to be kind of close to the main house, it turns out that I felt perfectly comfortable and private. An excellent location to visit any trailhead in Hanging Rock state park, a lovely screened in porch, and a fair overnight price makes this a great value in my opinion!

A great place to relax

Our stay was excellent. Met with property owner on Friday and he gave us the info we needed. Then we never saw them again. Its very private even though its behind their home, they never bother you. I would highly recommend this place. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back again.

Peaceful little cabin

My wife and I stayed two nights here and it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is behind the owners house but they have put blinds in the cabin and also have a privacy fence between the house and the cabin so we did have privacy. They provide you with a remote to open the gate so you can come and go as you please. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple just looking to get away. We brought a puzzle and assembled it during our stay.

Great find!

My fiancé and I stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect! We didn’t mind being on the same property as the owners at all. We only saw them when we arrived for the first time and he was really nice. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful view/very accommodating hosts

The hosts were friendly, helpful, and thoughtful in their preparation of the cabin. Also, a great price for nice accommodations, convenient to Hanging Rock State Park. I’d also recommend making a stop at John Brown’s Country Store.

Excellent property!

The Cook’s Wall Cabin was perfect for our stay on our trip to Hanging Rock State Park. Very close to the park entrance and in a quiet, beautiful location. Our host, Eric, was very accommodating to all our needs. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in that area.

The property was beautiful and the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and well maintained. It was a great touchdown spot ahead of my trip to Hanging Rock. Eric made check in easy and was a great host with great recomendations for food and hiking. I was only there 1 night by myself but would love to come back with the family for a longer visit.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

This was exactly what we needed - a quiet, safe, cozy place to stay for a few nights while my sister and I were helping my family in the area. It's a beautiful spot. The hosts were very gracious regarding a special request, and checked in daily to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Coffee on the screened in porch was a nice way to start each day. We'll definitely rent again when we come back to the area.

Very Good stay

The cottage had everything you need for a weekend. It wouldn't work for a longer stay because there is no oven, just a toaster oven and microwave. The bathroom is tiny but functional. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is near Hanging Rock, so that was excellent. Not many good places to eat out nearby.
