It was clean, but the whole place felt tired and old; outdated. It really needs a facelift, and definitely overpriced even though it is so convenient for the theatre and casino. I don’t plan on staying there again. You can’t charge Marriott prices and deliver a “Ramada Inn” experience. The Gordon Ramsey food court was more like an old mall food court. And, for the chef to allow his name on this type of experience was shocking.

We used the computer screen to check in and only option for the room assigned was two doubles and smoking room. When I looked at my reservation I had reserved a king bed in non smoking room. The smoke filled halls and room were not really appreciated.

I recently stayed at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort and overall enjoyed my visit. The room was large and spacious, with an adjustable temperature and a lovely, roomy bathroom. Although we didn’t have a noteworthy view, that wasn’t a big issue. The hotel offers plenty of dining options—from full-service restaurants to a food court—as well as indoor and outdoor pools and a workout area. The casino was nice, and I was delighted to find a penny slot machine. Valet service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. That said, there were a few hiccups that brought my rating down. Our room wasn’t ready at our scheduled check-in time, and despite being told we'd be called, we never received a notification and had to follow up twice. Both check-in and check-out staff were less friendly than I expected for a hotel of this caliber. The biggest letdown was housekeeping. The sheets were rough and wrinkled, and the feather pillows uncomfortable. After requesting foam pillows and new sheets, the room was serviced—but the bed was made poorly with the bottom sheet placed about two-thirds of the way up the bed instead of stretched properly, and the top sheet tucked only slightly under the box spring with the rest pooling on the floor at the head of the bed. After calling the supervisor, she came to our room and corrected the situation, but unfortunately, the hotel never offered an apology regarding our complaint. Taking everything into account, I’d give Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort
