How many hotels feed you breakfast, dinner and 3 free cocktails everday of your stay!?! Not too many I think. Beds were very comfortable, the pool and spa were great and well heated. Very friendly staff. We will be back!!
Nice staff, clean room and bathroom. The room was a little small but it was clean. For $69 a night I didn’t expect a Ritz Carlton. The parking lot was well lit and appeared to be in a safe area. Will definitely consider staying here for a night on game day weekends in Tuscaloosa again.
Room was really hot and the a/c barely got it cool enough to sleep in. I had to sleep with all covers off me. Showering warms the unit up faster than the a/c can cool it. It just doesn’t work like a normal a/c at any other place or at my home. Left it on 65 cool and on instead of auto and still barely ...
When my husband and I arrived, our room was not ready. We waited in a very comfortable lobby, the manager was apologetic and offered free bottles of water. He kept notifying us about the approximate wait time and offered a discounted rate for the inconvenience.
I reserved a room for 4 nights and tried to cancel my reservation 4 days prior to occupying it. With that much advance, I thought I might be charged for 1 night not for 4 nights. The Orbitz representative tried to intervene with the motel on my behalf. He was unsuccessful and apologized. A winter storm ravaged the lower Midwest, and, I imagine, many people’s travel plans were changed as mine were. I am surprised that a company with a good reputation, as Best Western has, would treat customers so poorly!
Hotel was easy access from highway and numerous restaurants nearby. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very average
The hotel has recently been remodeled and looks great.
Hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel itself seems a bit worn, perhaps because of its location, but I felt that the main hallways leading to the elevators, in particular need to be refreshed.
