It is so hard to write a review about this hotel. It is so convenient to the Birmingham Shuttlesworth airport. The staff are 100% amazing and wonderful. The Deep South breakfast buffet is cooked by a kitchen genius (I wish I knew the gentleman’s name. He is a wizard!). All of these positive human attributes are taking place in a property that is increasingly decrepit, dirty, smelly, and uncomfortable. To the owners : IT IS TIME TO RENOVATE ! PLEASE!!

The phones at the Hotel did not work the day we arrived or the day we left. To get from the airport to the Hotel I had to call an Uber to take us to the Hotel as I could not contact the Hotel by Phone . It was cold and windy we waited outside for their shuttle to come by but gave up on it. The morning we left there was no one at the front desk until the shuttle driver came back from delivery and he took us to the airport.

Filthy dirty, rooms are hardly habitable. So run down. Booked a suite and they told me at check in they didn’t have one, so to get enough beds for my family they charged me an extra $80 a night. The area around the hotel is so run down and you are not safe outside your room. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Had I not prepaid for my room, I would have walked out. The front desk person ignored me. The guy from the bar welcomed me and thanked me for my patience. He even offered water while I waited. The hotel itself has gone down tremendously. When I stepped out of the elevator, I was greeted by trash. That same trash was there the next day. There was a guy walking around the parking lot looking in people’s cars. I have stayed here plenty times, and I have never experienced anything like this before. Needless to say, this was my last stay.

The bar was out of everthing. The bartender needs help because it took forever to get service. The food was good, the bed was comfy, front desk ladies were awesome. Would have recieved 5 stars but I was deeply disapointed on the bar not being stocked properly and the wait time for service. Several people left because it took to long to be acknowledged.
