Stay was fine, staff at check in were kind. However, they billed me despite me paying Orbitz directly. I called them, waited on hold for 20 plus minutes, was reassured it would be addressed but a week and a half later still no refund so I’ve had to submit a dispute through my credit card company.

No one's answering the phone from the front desk (times 2 days) and no answer from restaurant. Why have room service when you can't reach no one. I had to go down to the Front Desk in order to get toiletries. I will not return to this hotel. The Valet Personnel was awesome.

For the price paid, I expected a better experience. Room was on floor 14. I could hear noise from motors going on and off all night. Shower was a joke. Looks like it’s intended for handicapped guests, which I never requested. A useless seat inside the shower was missing one screw so part of the seat was coming apart. Another screw with profuse corrosion was loose making the seat even more dangerous. The shower control came off when turning on the water. Managed to put it back on, but it was annoying because it keep coming off. Temperature settings are reversed. Low water pressure for the shower head which is located too low, and on the long side of the small shower area made it very awkward to shower. There is no containment for the water so the bathroom floor got all wet from taking a shower. Water has caused damage to the sink base cabinet giving it a poor dirty appearance. Outdated and stained furniture throughout made us not want to sit there. Cable management for TV and lamps is unprofessional and improvised using power strips that appear unsafe. Desk lamp did not work. Obsolete lamps on nightstands impossible to turn on/off without getting up to reach under the shade. Mattress and pillows were good, and the view was pretty. But the complete lack of maintenance and attention to details for a hotel advertised as “upscale and chick” made this experience very unsatisfactory. My wife and I are glad we were only staying for one night.

Love the direct access to the galleria mall and the room it self! Only problem was that the beds were hard and not soft so I didn’t sleep much due to a bad back

Loved the big shower and the renovated look of the rooms - it’s been about a decade since I’ve last stayed here and the rooms have definitely improved. My one issue was the no overhead lights in the room, only lamps and bathroom lights

Liked its location, easy access to Riverchase Galleria. Liked the breakfast buffet, food was very good. Disliked the dirty carpet, I could upload the pics I took of the trash and food crumbs on it. Disliked the sticky to the touch bathroom door. The lampshade between the beds had a small rip in it.
Service was great, shuttle service to the airport was very convenient and the driver was quite friendly and pleasant. Didn’t like that we had to pay for parking or park far away from the hotel. Also had a sticky substance in the carpet, but once it was brought to the staff’s attention, it was taken care of.

Very nice, clean hotel. Convenient location. What was surprising, and very disappointing was the fact that there was paid parking, unbeknownst to us. We had no idea that we would be charged a $14 parking fee per night, with no option to park otherwise! The charge was added to out bill at the end of our stay. If the intention was to charge for parking, they might as well be honest and instead just raise the rates so at least you’d be aware that you’d be charged more. Because of this we unfortunately won’t stay here again, it felt dishonest.
