Great staff
I chose Drury Inn & Suites because it received 4.5-4.9/5 stars. The property is nice enough, however, my room # 629 had plumbing problems. The room had an odor and I always clean hotel rooms upon entering, I was under the impression I could rid the room of the smell. I couldn't pinpoint the source of the odor until my last morning when my toilet backed up and would have overflowed on me had I attempted to clear the clog on my own. I know the problem existed before I checked in and will likely continue. When toilet water overflows onto the floors, the odor seeps into the grout, surrounding areas such as carpeting. It would make a world of difference if all the floors were steam cleaned to remove the odors. I informed the front desk of the issue upon checking out and received a request for feedback from Jennifer Woods. Ms. Woods apologized for the issue and invited me to give the Drury Inn another try. I advised that I would not because I would be fearful of more plumbing issues. There are too many more options in the area. Also, I'm 5'11" tall, the toilet and sink were uncomfortably low for someone of my height, but good for the physically challenged or average height person. There should be an option for regular height toilets/sinks just as there are for those with physical challenges. Thank you for your time.
Very clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff
Checking in and out we’re unpleasant. Staff at checkin had earbuds in jamming loud music or a podcast, so they yelled when they spoke. Very unprofessional. At checkout today, the lady at the desk at 11am was rude. I came to desk and she looked at me…said nothing…then bugged her eyes out to say “well?” Seemed very annoyed that I was interrupting her. No “hello”, “May I help you?” or “how was your stay?” Seemed so unhappy to have to help me. All I was doing was checking out… Anyway, room was very clean, but ice maker on my floor ( 2nd) didn’t work and wifi was REALLY slow. The reason I won’t go back though is the front desk staff and the wifi.
Pool and hot tub great, room great. The only thing was the outside door is a bit hard to keep open.
The property was amazing. The staff was helpful and polite. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and personable.
Wonderful facility and amenities
There wasn’t really a blanket on the bed it was like just the sheets. Rooms are boring looking inside
☺️😊nice hotel, pleasant staff and my only complaint is the housekeepers throughly clean and check the pillow cases for stains or markings.
great quality, nice stay as always. room was clean and tidy.
Overall, the place was good and worth the money. 2 big problems that are not easily corrected. First, the shower was not enclosed, so water often leaked all the way to the toilet, because the floor wasn't angled so the water didn't go all the way to the drain. The 2nd was the sink was out of the bathroom, so if you went to bathroom in middle of night, you had to turn on light to wash hands, which could disturb other guests. Just different, but having breakfast and dinner and providing 3 drinks were all great. It was clean and quiet. Staff was great.
Even though the motel was pet friendly, I was still charged a $35.00 per night pet fee. I have stayed in motels where there is no charge.
The hotel and staff were great. We did find a large spider in our room and were moved. Breakfast is nice and free drinks at night!
The sofa bed cover and sheets had stains all over them. Had to call for new ones.
