Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport serves 30 international and domestic airlines. Both terminals offer dining options that include fast food, salads, baked goods and coffee. You will find Subway, Taco Bell and other national fast food chains, as well as local snack bars and full-service restaurants. There is a shopping mall in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport for your added enjoyment and convenience before your flight departs.

The Route 13 city bus stops at the airport, and the PHX airport shuttle also connects to the 1, 3 and 44 city bus routes at 44th Street and Washington. Taxis are available from the airport, as are private shuttles, limousines, buses and shuttles to suburban areas and towns outside Phoenix.
The climate of Phoenix is hot and dry. The hottest months are June, July and August, when the temperature often goes above 100ºF during the day and dips to between 68º and 75º at night. The coolest months of the year in Phoenix are December and January, with highs in the mid-60s and lows of only about 40. Rainfall rarely exceeds 1 inch at any time of year, but in July there are usually only 0.1 inches of rain.
Phoenix is a city for lovers of the great outdoors. Piestewa Peak is one popular option for hiking, and South Mountain Park offers hiking trails that are known for their beautiful views. South Mountain Park is the largest municipal park in the world, and it also offers horseback riding trails.
