I don’t typically stay at independent hotels like this, but The Millwood caught my eye when browsing. We only stayed one night before I dropped my girlfriend off, but we enjoyed our time here while we could. The staff were very prompt for check-in and check-out. They filled me in on what I needed to know upon arrival, room was very easy to get to, and it was clean. Rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge, electric fireplace (nice touch), and an electric mirror (new to me). The room was cozy, as was the vibe of the hotel, and the bathroom was nice. The shower/bath is really great since it’s equipped with an overhead and a shower hose. One small detail I appreciated was the fact I can watch the TV from the shower if the door is open. The breakfast was average, stocked with the essentials to start your morning off right (eggs, protein, pastries, waffle machine, coffee machine, yogurt, juices, etc). Would definitely stay here again if presented with the opportunity. Definitely worth the affordable price (please keep it that way).

Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, decent Continental breakfast. Our flight was delayed for 9 hours and we arrived 2am, glad the hotel's is very accommodating for late arrival. Very cute little boutique hotel. Frieny staffs. This is my 2nd stay. I would stay again in future.

I haven’t stayed in an in probably for 30 years. This was a clean, simple room with wood floors in an adequate bathroom, which allowed me to rest, noise, free, for the night. I liked that the exterior arcade was glassed in which allowed a barrier from the cold weather and rain that we’ve had the last week. Upon checking in and checking out, the staff was friendly and the free continental breakfast was adequate. It was the lowest cost option in the area last night… And a decent place to stay.

The place is a three star hotel supposily close to the airport. The room inside, although smelly looks like a three star hotel. But the hotel outside, looks like one of those motels from old movies.

I called the hotel a couple of days ago to ask if we could get bags with food to go since our flight was really early and we were not going to have time to stay for the continental breakfast. They told me that they would be able to provide them and that I should mention that when doing my check in. I did, and the lady at the front desk said that they only did that during Covid. I mentioned that I had called ahead and that the person said it would be ok. She was NOT courteous at all. She called someone to confirm the information and, in the end, she agreed to provide a bag in the morning. She made it very clear that she wasn’t going to make the bag for us. The next morning, I was told that they didn’t had any bags!

First of all you call it a “boutique hotel”. I call it a motel. There was no shuttle to the airport as advertised. The toilet seat does not fit the toilet. We were very disappointed.
