I was able to check in early upon arrival. Location was very clean, secure and quiet, which was a huge plus. I traveled alone as this was my first visit to Rome. Very convenient to shops, cafes and restaurants all within a 5-10 minute walk. Valeria was an excellent hostess as she was very friendly with many suggestions for cafes and restaurants. Yes, I would certainly stay at this location again “when in Rome”.

My entire stay at New Design was magnificent! The room was beautiful, very cozy…high ceilings, a hot tube, great a/c and heat, wonderful housekeeping staff, a spectacular bathroom, big screen, outside elevator…I can go on and on! Stefania and Valeria even helped me booked a taxi to FCO at an awesome rate! I truly cannot say enough good things about New Design…I’m definitely gonna stay there again on my next visit to Rome (very soon)!

The property is located within a residential building next to a quiet enclosed courtyard. Because it requires passcodes to get into the courtyard, the building as well as the hotel, it feels quite safe. We did not drive but saw that there are some street Parking’s around the property. The room is clean with interesting and high ceiling. Staff is friendly and very responsive during working hours. There are quite a few restaurants near the hotel with just a short walk away.

THIS IS NOT A HOTEL! We had a very dificult time finding the place. They are located inside a rather large older development that is under renovations and you are surrounded by construction work and garbage. The number is almost impossible to see on the exterior of the building and upon entering the door to the complex you have no idea this could be a hotel.Our Taxi driver couldn't even find the building and a coffee shop next door had never heard of New Design St Peter! I have several pictures of the construction garbage in the courtyard and the state of construction . Service is only available from 9.00 am to 2.00 PM and communication is through an app called WHATSAPP- You can send them a message after 2.00 pm but you do not get a response until after 9.00 am the next day-Great for an emergency! The rooms are barely adequate and we could hear someone coughing in am adjoining room many times. We had a written confirmation from Expedia outlining our cost but it was not honoured by |New Design St Peter. They said there had been a change in some kind of tax about 2 years ago -I objected to paying the increase as they would have received the same information about my stay from Expedia that was on my confirmation but they would not give us the key unless we paid the extra. And unfortunately all of this was taking place by telephone as they were not onsite. If you want to be considered as a Hotel you need to provide better service, need more signage and have staff available.

New Design St. Peter is in an excellent location and safe area. Felt safe walking even in the wee hours of the morning or late at night. Walking distance to Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Basilica and Metro A station and other tourist areas. The area has lots of nearby restaurants. The room is clean and descent in size. Highly recommended!

This property was great except that the elevator was not working. We had to carry 2 large suitcases up and down 5 flights of stairs upon arrival and departure. This also was very inconvenient after a long day of sight seeing.
