This was a great hotel. It was 2 blocks from the main bus terminal that took us to and from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was really nice, the staff was friendly. It was in a great area with nice restaurants. We stayed in 3 hotels on our European vacation (in Scotland, London, and Rome), and this was by far the best. Absolutely loved this place.

Excellent experience at this hotel. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating. I had a few things to store in the fridge for the night, and they were nice enough to find space in the bar fridge and make sure to return my bag to me the next morning at 3:30 am! They also offered a nice and rich breakfast box for that same morning before my departure. My room was clean and comfortable. Great location.

Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast terrace was beautiful. Great area to walk around in.

This hotel was a great find. It is minutes from the train station, which came in handy for traveling to other locations. We had tickets to the Vatican, and it was about a 20 minute cab ride. There are lots of shops and restaurants located right outside the hotel. I would recommend this to anyone going to Rome. It was our first visit to Rome, and this was a great hotel!

When we entered the room it smelled bad, most likely due to dampness. However the staff was very courteous and moved our room immediately. Only negative is no wifi in the rooms. Location is great as it is very close to termini train station.

You cannot find a hotel at a better location than this hotel. It is close to the train station, metro (A & B lines) and bus station. To Europe standard, the size of the room is decent and fairly comfortable. It is a little bit on the expensive side but the quality is there. Our room was clean and quiet. We found the staffs were helpful but could be better as they did not usually give us the best advise. The restaurant close by were good. The breakfast had good selection.

Not a 4 star hotel but location is very good, my room was very small but clean, bathroom was also very small,

The highlight of this hotel was the bed which was very comfortable and was an actual full sized bed, not 2 twin beds pushed together like other "full sized" beds we encountered in Italy. The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants and not too far from anything in Rome. We walked everywhere we went from the hotel. It wasn't in the nicest area of Rome, however it still felt safe even after the sun went down. The garden terrace restaurant was very nice and had excellent views, however they only offered the dinner buffet which was a good, tasty selection of various foods, however it was quite pricey. The regular menu was advertized throughout the hotel however it was never available while we were there. The complementary breakfast buffet filled us up every morning before we started on our adventures in Rome.

The Diana Hotel is really much nicer than most of the hotels I have tried in Rome. All the basics are there, and are really quite good. Most bathrooms in Roman hotels are marginal, but this one was really elegant, from the toilets to the shower. The bed was very comfortable. The roof garden was a delightful way to start the day, and the food served there was quite good. And the whole atmosphere of the hotel was most pleasant. I even went down and sat in the lobby to do some reading. A very nice experience! The location was extremely convenient, minutes from the Termini (walking--no need for a cab!) and of course it is in the heart of Rome.

Very nice, clean, friendly staff and helpful no problems with anything.

We arrived about 4 pm and were told there was a problem with the water in the two rooms we were to have. We don't believe the water problem story for a minute, and assume they were overbooked. They arranged rooms for us accross the street in the Best Western Universo, which was very nice.

Close to train station. Staff a bit stuffy, but were helpful. They were busy. Room nice with decor and paintings

I was meeting my sister and cousin in Rome and there were some travel challenges in us connecting the day of arrival (Italian train system strike). My sister and cousin had originally been scheduled to stay elsewhere. My room at the Diana ended up up becoming the central meeting location. The hotel was very accommodating in 1) giving my sister access to my room early in the day after proving her identity (I was not scheduled to arrive until 8 hours later) and 2) providing a 2nd room to us at the same [...] rate at the last minute. I found the rooms to be fairly typical by EU standards - somewhat smaller than a standard US hotel room, but clean, neatly laid out and all of the necessary amenities. It is located within a 6-8 minute walk of Roma Termini train station and there are plenty of outdoor cafes within easy walking distance (a couple of blocks). The AC worked well in my sister and cousin's room. I couldn't seem to get mine to work, however I admit I was exhausted and didn't spend much time trying to figure it out or ask the front desk for assistance. I would not hesitate to stay here again when in Rome. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel

My husband and I stayed here the last night of our honeymoon. We chose this hotel b/c it was close to the train station [...]. The hotel was very small but had a nice rooftop cafe. The room was very small (as most hotel's in Italy are), but out of our entire 2 1/2 week honeymoon the Diana has the smallest room. The staff wasn't the friendliest. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation near the Spanish Steps, the man at the desk handed us a card and said, "American's seem to like this place." He didn't offer to make us a reservation or tell us why the place was good, only that Americans liked it.If you are looking for a place to crash before heading out of town the Diana will do, but if you are staying in town longer than a night then look elsewhere.

The location is fantastic since it is 5 minute walk from the central station and twenty minute walk to Colosseum. Restaurants are all over the place and some of them are really nice. The hotel itself is okay. The rooms are cleaned everyday and new sheets are put. The staff is nice and helpful. At first we had a very dark room inside of the well and didn't get any sunlight. Me and my fiancée asked to change rooms and were given 6th floor semi comparable room with a balcony :).

Great for a quick stop in Rome, if you need to be near the train station. The basics are there, for a single traveller it's great.

It's 5min walk to Roma Termini, and convenient to get to many places in Rome. Other than that: the room was small and uncomfortable. A/C didn't work, which was terrible since this was Rome in the summer They also gave me a smoker's room when I had requested non-smoking.
