Awesome property

Great location and rooftop pool. Property was in great shape.Beach club a quick 3 block walk and close to everything else. Tank-ha five center 2 blocks away also amazing staff and dives.

Very nice week vacation

We were in this place before and because we liked it went back again. This place is in very good location, very modern, clean, beautiful pool on the roof. The staff is very helpful and care. Wifi is working everywhere. Overall we really liked this place and we will be back again.

Center of beach and action

The hotel is on 5th ave which is a great location about 3 blocks from the beach. This is a good place to be near all the action on 5th ave. Bars and restaurants are all nearby. Apartment is newly renovated. AC works great. Hot water heater for showers is small but if you don't turn on water full blast will last for two back to back showers. Hard beds is a minus in my book. Also the underground parking garage driveway is super steep and tight. 90 turn from street and another 90 degree turn halfway down. I consider myself a good driver and scratched the front bumper of the rental car VW Jetta. Get a smaller car is my advice or take a hotel transfer. If you plan on cooking there are very limited silverware and pots and pans albeit scratched but are usable. Making eggs in the frying pan next to impossible no matter how much butter you use. Rooms are nice since modern and update but noisy. Weekday's you can hear the music till about midnight and Friday, Saturday night forget it. Noise goes on from people in the streets till the morning. Sometimes a good feeling to be part of the action while sitting in the room depending on your take on things. Water in the pool was cool but felt like we had it to ourselves as no one else was using it most of the time. I do recommend this hotel and would come again however our room had a view of a cell phone tower on top of Luck Lucianos (next time compact car).

Best location in Playa del Carmen

This hotel was in the heart of 5th Avenue. Anytime you want a coffee across the street at Starbucks. Get some amazing gelato next door. Restaurants five minutes within walking distance. Pizza across the street. It takes not even 10 minutes to walk to Kools/Mamitas beach. Our suites was a one bedroom, good space for a family of four. Two teens could share a double sofa bed or pull out trundle underneath for another kid/teen. 2 seperate private bathrooms air conditioned units. Nice decor however cleaning could have been better. Nothing gross just not a deep cleaning. Highly recommended.

If interested ---don't be.

After 40 yrs of travel--had worst experience here!-We actually went to see room at 8 am --looked fine-said we could check in at 2:30pm. We came back--room we saw was not available--but just cleaning two others--20 minutes later went up to see room--they were putting furniture together!=Looked at other room--could not see, but promised was being cleaned--15 minutes later--that room had not been cleaned and bed was broken--leg missing.Now very upset--they then showed us another room--only 5 rooms in building for rent--so this was last one--but was terrible--OH--one more room to show you--we saw it--by now frustrated--but had paid 2 nights-no refund--we took it. Was over 100 degrees--so tried A/C--neither worked--NOW--really upset--all these promises-and nothing yet!-We walked out--on way out manager was there--apologies--went back to room-he had window sensors that stopped A/C-finally got it working. We moved in--but had to clean--was filthy--sinks--dishes we rewashed--urine on toilet seat--bathroom drain hardly drained--we wet towels--washed all areas.Showered before dinner--no hot water!--none--we had to laugh--so angry. That night no sleep--A/C rattled all night--fact that a party was going on right below and next door--at 5 a.m.--it broke up,no fault of hotel-but really 5 a.m.---we left next morning-exhausted--forget prepaid extra day--we just got out. If you book--like us--make sure you buy shampoo-soap etc. Was in great area on 5th--but if looking for quiet---forget.

Excellent Experience! Best Vacation Ever!

This hotel condo is perfectly located on 5th Ave, a pedestrian only street. Full of local restaurants and shops. Five minutes walk to the beach. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Caring people! Clean, very attractive condo. We rented the two bedroom condo with ocean view and tower. We had our own pool!! Absolute 5 Stars! We would love to come back in the future!

Nice hotel suite, great location

I really liked the fact that this hotel suite is very spacious. I expected the space to be a bit smaller. The location is great. You're on the famous 5th avenue and can see that from the rooftop pool. Also since its a smaller hotel, it is quiet around and can sometimes get the pool at to yourself. Would recommend

This is The One!!

Upon arriving service was great we were greeted very well, I was amazed at the condo very clean spacious, everyone enjoyed the stay here. The beds could be a little more comfortable but, everything else was Great!!! We had our own Private pool upstairs; this was a 3 floor condo unit.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place was amazing, and we enjoyed every second there. We would def stay here again. Manager was very nice and helpful. I wish I remembered his name, but Im sure Ill remember right after submitting this. But everything was perfect. Our condo was very clean, and had great furniture. The bed was probably the most comfortable out of any hotel we have stayed. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent Condo Hotel

Our family and I had a great stay at Quinta Sol. The location is unbeatable, and view from balcony was great. We plan on staying here again, and highly recommend. Very clean and helpful workers.

They go above and beyond

Quinta Sol is our #1 choice when traveling to Playa del Carmen, which we do very often for business. They front desk reps and manager are great people, and very helpful. I can always rely on the room being clean. The condo hotel is in a perfect location. Honestly, this place couldn't be in a better location. Its right on 5th Avenue, in the middle of everything, but just far enough from the loud commotion that happens on 5th. The manager is truly always helpful whenever I need assistance or help. Quinta Sol is like my second home, and highly recommend this condo hotel.

Nice apartment style 1 bedroom close to beach

This hotel has treated us good from the beginning to our departure. Not following the reviews, we became open to the idea that us hotel could be good or bad. Our stay has been the comfiest place that we stayed on our trip to Mexico! It's nice and everything is new. The best part is that the apartment is on 5 Ave. The bed was comfy and another great part to our stay is that there are two bathrooms. The air conditioner also worked full power. The only thing to mention is that the water heater is small, so showers only last 10 minutes per person. It heats up quickly if you wait 5 minutes in between. The staff was very courteous and nice to us. We will be back again, thank you!

On 5th Ave Great location.

We loved this hotel. The location is great, right on 5th Ave, where all the restaurants and stores are. The hotel is clean and new. They have all the comfort of your home. It is a suite, so plenty of room. No one bothers you so you can just relax. My only comment would be to fix the parking garage. We had a rent a car and was afraid of damaging the car. They need to fix this. Otherwise I loved everything about this hotel and will be back to stay here in May again.

An unpleasant surprise

Booked the penthouse for one night so we could see the unit before forking up the cash to rent it for 3 weeks. Put it this way... Not worth the money. The unit was VERY dirty; urine on the toilet seat, broken glass on deck, air-conditioning not working in both bedrooms, and a sticky floor in the kitchen. Most likely this place cheaped out and didn't bother cleaning unit well for a one night rental. Bottom line there are better options in the area with private pools.
