We truly enjoyed our visit to Playa del Carmen & our VRBO accommodations. Efrain shared many restaurant recommendations and Alan & Emilio stayed in touch to make sure everything was going well & made it clear they were ready to address any issues that might arise (none did). The cozy lobby, the public spaces (hallways, rooftop pool area) & our apartment were all spotlessly clean. Our apartment was well equipped & we enjoyed having the Chedraui Super store an easy 5 minute walk away. We took a colectivo to a nearby cenote one day but otherwise we stayed in the neighborhood and walked to breakfast & dinner. We quickly learned to enjoy midday indoors (siesta!). If you need accommodations just minutes away from more cafés, restaurants & shops than you can visit in a week, this lovely apartment would be a great choice.
