Disliked: Cleanliness
The property needs massive renovation and a deep clean!We were disappointed with the state of the villa throughout our stay. The online listing shows nice outdoor furniture but it was different when we arrived. It was unusable as it was so dirty and mouldy. The screen around the pool was green and so were the upstairs windows. The carpets throughout were filthy and need cleaning or new ones fitted. The shower didn’t work properly so the en suite was too high and it couldn’t be adjusted. The shower heads are rusty and dirty. The walls are pretty grim and need painting. I get there are people in and out all of the time but it didn’t look like it had been kept on top of. The furniture is very dated and the dining room chairs had stains on them. There were no ceiling lights in some rooms which I thought was weird and instead lamps had to be used. Some plug sockets didn’t work and when I dried my hair one of the lamps would flicker. There was no blind or curtains on the landing window. The screen nets outside were also broken in lots of places. I didn’t complain as we were already having issues with lost luggage and I didn’t want to have to ring around complaining when nothing would have been done whilst we were there anyway. Some of the beds were comfy and duvets soft. The view is lovely out the back and we saw lots of wildlife, which we enjoyed.
