Other than the meth pipe we found in the room, the hotel was pretty nice. We were pretty happy with it. Great location, too. It's on Fremont, so it's pretty loud at night. Otherwise we really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed my stay at The Cortez. The Casino is a fun place to play and it’s a block away from the Downtown Las Vegas strip. I will definitely be coming back.

I you want your room quiet when you sleep choose the mountain view side. I stayed in the city view side on the 14th floor. So the "street" noise was very minimal, but there are a couple of clubs across the street and the base was in my room like I was in the club. Room was great otherwise. One of the elevators was not working so going up and down to the 14th floor was a hassle sometimes. Drink prices were amazing and the gambling was great. Proximity to Freemont street was also great.

Great hotel downtown. Table minimums higher than other downtown hotels and they don't have Louisiana Stud. The water pressure was slightly lower than it should be. They have a good rewards program with lots of drawings and point rewards. I look forward to staying there again.

The room was very clean , comfortable and quiet. I really like the entire "Cabana" theme. It really made me feel like I was at a tropical location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. When I needed to find a specific ATM, they were more than helpful in pointing me to the right location.

I stayed in a Cabana suite and there was music blasting somewhere in the area which went until the wee hours of the morning so it was hard to get sleep. The upstairs unit leaked through a light fixture into my bathroom and I had to ask housekeeping to mop it for me (which was done promptly). Everything was clean and tidy though. There’s a fridge inside too.

I didn’t like that the sheets and the pillows smelled like it hasn’t been changed, it smelled dirty. I don’t like that my credit card was charged twice and my boyfriends card was charged as well for the same amount and when I called the hotel to ask about it, I was transferred and I was placed on hold for over an hr and I still didn’t get helped because I hung up.
