Ac did not work , dirty. I would like a refund.
Property is dated but the rooms were clean and spacious. Always nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the kitchen area, but keep in mind, there are no dishes, pots, pans or utensils. There was a CVS down the street, that came in handy, since the convenience store off of the main lobby always seemed to be closed. That the CVS had locks on the sandwiches, milk, ice cream, and other cold goods to reduce theft gives a good idea about the neighborhood. But the parking lot at the Alexxis is open, has clear view of the parked cars, and was patrolled so I didn't worry about my car at night. One of the reasons I do not like LV hotels is because of the scale. However, one of the pleasant things about the Alexis Park Resort is that the free parking is convenient to the rooms. This is always handy but particularly so if making sales calls in the LV area. I can't speak to the amenities like pool and gym since I was in for a quick business trip. There is no casino so if you want to gamble and see shows, you'll have to do it someplace else. For me, however, not needing to walk through a smokey casino looking for the elevator to my room on the 22nd floor is also a plus. The Alexxis only has two floors with room access from outside on the ground floor and catwalk on the second floor. At about $100 a night including room, resort fees, orbucks rebate, and taxes the Alex is a good rate for business travel and will probably stay that way until somebody decides to upgrade the property.
Good place to get 3 beds in 1 room that is within walking distance of the Strip.
Thank you Chad at the front desk for exceptional service
There was someone else’s blood on the sheets. There was Starbucks trash in the bathroom trashcan. Our key would not work, we had to go to the front desk six times and eventually use security to let us in our room.
No stairs, a nightmare to bring up luggage. A/C was about to croak, had to call in an engineer to fix it.
We checked in for two nights. Booked a suite with a pull out couch. When we got to our room there was no pull out couch. Went back to reception and they said they were fully booked and had no other rooms and that it IS a pull out couch. They were rude and snarky. We went back to our room, NOT a pull out couch. Called the front desk and again were told no other rooms. We were told that they would refund on night’s stay. There was an ant problem in the room as well. Upon check out we were told, rudely, that they credited back resort fees. That they don’t credit for a whole nights stay. This staff was incredibly rude and lied. Would not ever stay here again and would recommend against it to others.
