This cabin was a HUGE disappointment. It’s dingy and dirty, outside & inside. The wood porch leading to the front door is rotted. Someone cut out a square section & dropped pieces of wood in; not secured & doesn’t cover the entire hole. I was carrying bags , didn’t notice it right away and got my heel stuck. Nearly broke my ankle. No A//C, which I knew, but windows & screens are filthy & hard to open to circulate air, along with ceiling fans. First entering, the interior smelled very musty, to a point it was hard to breathe. I needed to use the bathroom and upon walking in noticed hair on the floor and the baseboard heating unit. The small living area is carpeted and had a multitude of stains. We never walked on it without wearing shoes. The bed cover also had stains. We removed it. There’s a hole in the bedroom sheetrock that got painted over instead of repaired. Blinds on the bedroom windows are too small for the width, so after dark if the light is on, anyone outside can see into the room. And good grief, we only had 3 hangers in the closet. We had to triple hang our clothes. The couch is ancient, there’s no padding left to the cushions. And you can’t sit on it without leaning toward the center. With tax and fees, this cabin is 300/night. Only positives: it’s close to downtown Estes Park and the mattress is comfy. It really is not worth the cost to stay here. I have always had great success with VRBO rentals, but would never recommend this cabin to anyone.
