This is absolutely overpriced for the facilities and room you receive. A 5 star price for a 2 star accommodation. The renovations of the rooms were not done with any reverence to the history or with any skill - paint was terrible, a wall air conditioner in the window with duct tape, blinds that don't match the size of the window, horrible towels and a ridiculous bathroom layout and amenities. Add to that no coffee in the room or lobby and after paying $260 per night for a room you want me to buy a $6 coffee. The hotel is rich in history but an absolute joke to stay at for the cost.

Historic of course, But modern updates needed. Understaffed at front Desk Room not ready till 5 PM and Renovations that have been done to ceilings hallways poor Quality of the old furniture water stained in my room Locations, of Course, is Excellent. But for the Price, it is lacking. Wish them well. Thanks, Ken Lee

The history of the hotel was amazing and it is central to everything. A must stay in Glenwood springs.

Felt like we had for back in time. Loved the old fashioned hospitality.

The historical features of this property are amazing. You can tell they have tried to keep some of the architectural features, which can be difficult when updating things.

Old historic hotel but not worth the price tag. Room was dated and drab, but the bathroom was very dated and not very clean. Bed was comfortable. But for 300+ a night you would think you would at least get a bottle of water. Overall a disappointment

historic place with great access to downtown. a bit pricey for the amenities but the location cannot be beat.

Old hotel so don't have expectations of modern amenities.

Always live coming here. Parking was an issue this time.

Lovely old hotel right in town. Doesn't have all the amenities of hotel chains, like free breakfast, coffee makers in room, etc, but parking is free and the historic charm makes up for it.

The property is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly

Being 100 years old and it brings you back in time

We enjoyed staying in such a historical place and hanging out in the lobby with all of the couches and fireplace after a long day of snowboarding. The bed was comfy and clean. The towels were clean as well and the carpet appeared to be quite new. The bottom of the tub seemed dirty - perhaps just from age? Overall, I was quite pleased with the room. We did have noisy guests in the room above us who seemed to be moving around a lot in the night and they had a dog that barked. Thankful for the opportunity though to have been a guest there. :)
