A lovely old hotel, but I was not informed it was under construction until we arrived. Work started at 8am and shook the bed. A discounted rate under these conditions would have been appreciated.

Clean but bare bones rooms

Great historic atmosphere

Dirty....

La gente es bien amable y los empleados y el Hotel es hermoso, las habitaciones si les hace falta un poco de remodelación pero ya me dijeron que las están remodelando, pero tampoco es que están mal. En General brutal la experiencia.

I litterly walked into the room, turned around a left. It smelled, the furniture was falling apart and it was generally just disgusting.

Parking fee was charged. Rediculous

House keepers should not knock on the door at 9 am on a room that is checking out later that morning.

A delightful stay with quality service in the dining facilities. Would gladly visit again.

The garden in the middle of the property was very enjoyable. We enjoyed a glass of wine from the garden bar by a fire pit surrounded by a few friendly people. The room we were initially assigned was awful. The carpet was really stained - big stains too. The view was the roof out the back of the hotel. Pretty small room too. We asked for a new room and they were very accommodating by giving us a cleaner room with a good view. I like the historical aspect of this hotel but it needs a lot of updates inside.

Would stay there again..

The Colorado Hotel is not state of the art as most resorts, but it makes up for it with charm and history. Presidents have stayed when it was a get away for the rich and famous. Have stayed before and will again in the future.

Great historical building in great condition. Large room, pet friendly, and great food in the restaurant!

Wonderful historic hotel with big rooms at an affordable price

Old hotel, well kept. Nice dining and bar area on outside patio.

I am a fan of historic hotels and this is a beautiful old hotel, ripe for exploration. On the downside, it was a hot week and the room took a long time to cool down - thankfully there was a ceiling fan in the room which helped tremendously because the heavy curtains covered the window AC. When we called for room service, the number was misidentified on the phone, so nobody answered. I called the operator who put me through but then seemed annoyed because nobody answered and it kept rerouting to her. Room service was pricey for what we received and it was cold, and some items were forgotten. At checkout, the clerk was not very friendly. So - in general, it was a lovely old hotel but just an ok experience.

Carol was great at the front desk. Really helpful and nice.

Thank you for your feedback, and I apologize for the inconvenience. The reason for our parking fee is due to the very expensive leases we have taken out on our new parking lots for our guests convenience. If you would like to reach out to me directly I would be happy to refund you for parking. Thank you for staying with us!
