Hotel Denver is a charming hotel with fascinating history, it’s ideally located to shops and restaurants. Close to hiking along the Roaring Fork river; beautiful!

I have stayed on this property a number of times and it has always been an excellent stay. On my current trip I’ve already stayed at 2 other hotels where my overall rating has been blah. Hotel Denver has always been a consistent great experience.

Charming historic hotel with a wonderful location. Great restaurants and shops all walking distance and hot springs right across the river. Dog friendly as well.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel right across from the train station. Fun downtown neighborhood. Our Signature Boutique Queen Room was very comfortable and furnished nicely with a great street view. The only problem we had was my hubby didn't realize the Magic parking card had to be used to get out of the included parking lot, and when he tried contacting help, the phone was never answered. For that reason, he would rate a 4*--I would rate 5*. If visiting in Glenwood Springs again, will definitely return to Hotel Denver.

Beautiful rooms - each one unique

Staff was great! Loved the exposed brink wall in the room. The room had lots of old character. However, the hotel is old so you can hear EVERYTHING! Kids running down the halls and drunk adults being inconsiderate. They definitely need to clean the beds better. Found multiple hairs in the bed the first evening. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers using blankets we brought from home. Overall, it was an ok stay. Deep cleaning in room and hotel is really needed.

Everything was great about the property, however I was overcharged by Orbitz for the room. The hotel's rate was about $30 less than what Orbitz charged me.

Had a queen suite, room was very nice, but was surprised there was no refrigerator. Room was advertised as “river view “ but. It was “no view” at all

We were upgraded to a boutique suite that was beautiful and well done. Felt like a home away from home. Staff were very accommodating!

The place looks very dated and needs a facelift - I can't imagine the cost of such a project, but it's needed.

Old Hotel that has been kept in excellent condition.Close to everything in Glenwood. Walk to shops and many excellent places to eat.

Softest towels ever in a hotel - no pool at property was the only drawback ( summer season problem only).

The location was great, the interior was quaint and updated, and the front desk staff was very nice. The rooms were small but should not have been a surprise because square footage is listed. The bed was a little squeaky but not terrible. It was a very comfortable bed! The view for a Denver room was described as overlooking downtown Glenwood however was actually looking at houses across the street and then really nothing past that which was a little disappointing. The thing that bothered me most was there was no AC, and the room was between 73-82 degrees in mid-May, which is way to hot for a bedroom in my opinion.

The location is great. The hotel rooms very nice and comfortable. They failed to clean our room for our next day.
