This is a must stay hotel, walkable to everything

The staff were very friendly and it was a nice place to arrive at after a long day of driving. The restaurant next door was great.

TOILET WAS CLOGGED UPON ENTERING THE ROOM. CALLED, THEY FIXED BUT CLOGGED AGAIN. LATER FRONT DESK SAID NO ONE THERE TO FIX SO I PLUNGED FOR REMAINDER OF TRIP. EVERY TIME EVEN WHEN A TRIAL FLUSH. THEN, THEY OFFERED ME $20 OFF MY BILL. HORRIBLE.

Nice clean rooms. With a Henry helpful staff and convenient restaurants

This stay was a gift to my daughter and her husband for their 10th wedding anniversary. They and the wedding party had stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. As always the lobby was inviting with fruits, coffees and teas. Absolutely the friendliest staff to greet you. Matt and Lyndsay were treated to a room upgrade as well. A kind touch by staff. The location is just right in the center of activities, restaurants and shopping. The Hotel Denver also has an excellent restaurant as well. Beautiful facility.

Such a charming hotel. Amazing and knowledgeable staff. Walking distance to so many amazing restaurants. Special thanks to Roxi and Sam for all your fantastic tips and recommendations.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is top notch. The nearby restaurants are great and all the service was excellent. I do not say that lightly. Customer service is a lost art but not here.

Had a great weekend hosted by the Hotel Denver. Biking and hot springing on the western slope.

This is a great hotel. Modernized and comfortable. Staff were outstanding and very very helpful. We reserved a room for the same time next year.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Denver - I wish we'd been able to enjoy our room a little more as we were there for the Glenwood Triathlon (in the future, I know now to perhaps request a room NOT above the bar - but I didn't know that when I booked). They let us have a slightly later checkout time due to our race being all morning so we had time to get our things afterwards and not have to check out at 5am :) The continental breakfast could be a little more inclusive, but for a quick morning snack was sufficient. The room was clean and very roomy as 4 of us shared it with our bikes and tri gear! We loved the locations as we could walk to anything and we look forward to coming back!

Great location across the street from the Amtrak rail station. Good food in the attached brew pub. The hot springs are an easy walk across a pedestrian bridge. Fun times.

We enjoyed this hotel because it was different, not a cookie cutter chain. Rooms were small, but we expected that knowing the age of the establishment. The bathroom had been updated. We loved the antiques and quilts in the room which can be purchased in the lobby as a souvenir. The weather while we were there was cold so having an on restaurant was a plus. Free parking was a block away. Breakfast was fruit and a breakfast bar from the lobby if one desires. The hotel had discounted Hot Springs pool tickets and swim towels for one's' use that was not mentioned when we purchased our room, so we paid full price the first time we went to the pool.

We were celebrating our 10 anniversary and we love historical hotels but after reading some of the other reviews my expectations for the Hotel Denver were not too high. I was pleasantly suprised in ALL Areas. The hotel staff was fabulous! Roxie went above and beyond for us. The room was great-perfect tempurature-very cozy. Location is awesome-walking distance to everything. We will only be staying at the "Hotel Denver" when we're visiting Glennwood Springs.

Staff was outstanding, location great, this is my 5th stay here.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, full of antigues and old tile. I felt surrounded by Glenwood Springs history. The staff were warm and inviting and always willing to help. The room was beautiful. The location was perfect.

Privately owned hotel with helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. Very easy to walk to the hot springs. Nice restaurants in the area, but we thought we would explore the area and drove to Rifle for an excellent Thai meal.

It is an older building so it was a small room. Mix of old and new: antique style furniture with wi-fi and flat screen tv. It was within walking distance of the Hotsprings pool and restaurants. A good experience but it was very warm in our room so we didn't get the best night's sleep.

was a great place to stay . very nice and updated.

The staff was very friendly and the location was excellent. However, the rooms had wood floors that were not cleaned. Our feet turned black after walking around the room barefoot. The large antique furniture made the small rooms seem even smaller. One of the legs on the table we had in the room was broken. The hotel's restaurant was good but the portions were small for the price.

Great location and a very cozy room. Hotel staff was very brief and not overly helpful.
