First of all we went with the impression that we were going to get what we paid what I consider to be a good amount of money for. This was not at all the case! The pictures online show a completely different setting than what it actually is. There was construction throughout the building so there were barriers everywhere causing us to go around and try to keep kids from getting paint on themselves. The elevators are for everyone including staff who many times were carrying all their supplies so either they or we would be waiting at the elevator for awhile. The elevator took forever and are very small! The rooms smelled musty and sour and there were still crumbs and hair in the room. I have a special needs baby who I normally will do tummy time on the floor and stretches and therapies with that she needs daily which I couldn't do due to the filth. The pool was mediocre. It was shallow, our 10yo stayed on her knees a lot of the time. The hot tub was not hot but really warm and there were no towels half the time. The chlorine was so strong it burnt our noses and eyes. Even though we booked for 4 people in 3 different rooms we were allotted a tiny bottle of shower hygiene and couldn't request more until the 3rd day of staying which we wouldn't do anyway at that price and in those conditions and to top it off were still charged extra for the use of a pack and play. The park was a complete waste of money!
This is one of the best experience we had in the Glenwood Spring area. Walkable to Iron Mountain Hot Springs and Gondola was a perfect for our stay.
Older property in need of a face lift but overall a great place for kids. Indoor waterpark is great. It has an area for little kids too. The only thing i did not like is i received an email atating that the price was over-ridden price and nothing was due. Email was misleading.
We liked the fact that it’s near the park
Felt safe. Convenient to both dinner and breakfast. Pleasant gardens behind the address. Couple extremely helpful.
In town,
Pool area great for kids
Very easy check in They had parking 😊and close to everything about 15 mins walking to hot springs
The pool, hot tub and water slide were a fun and unique treat.
Was put in a room along Highway 70. Did not get any sleep. Clerk who checked me in should have mentioned the room was on the highway
The only reason it isn't getting an A review is purely because I'm a brat about included breakfast. The hotel is wonderful, full of charm that locals and tourists can appreciate. Its pricey for obvious reasons which is the problem. I did not get what I paid for with the breakfast. There wasn't even cereal the mornings I was there. I get it takes substantial income to keep up with a property like that but at those rates spring for a waffle maker 😂 dang. Other than that, everything exceeded expectations.
Property is much older than its seen on the pictures. Very disappointed.
Hotel needs updating. Breakfast was very disappointing. Toasters that didn't work, mostly just cold cereal, coffee cold, etc.
Great water park.
The pool and location of the hotel.
Very pet friendly hotel. Nice pool area and very nice staff. Will definitely come back!
