Only failure was extremely small breakfast room for way too many guests

"Okay" is really all you can say about this place.

Very nice hotel, clean, nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and good breakfast.

Great location , close to everything what you need, walking distance to gas stations , grocery , liquor store , restaurants !

Nice indoor pool and hot tub, clean room, comfortable bed, decent breakfast included - all for about 80 bucks. Would stay there again

Went to hanging lake and hit the hits prongs afterwords. Me and my fiancé and our Grindr had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Clean room friendly staff and most of all hanging lake was awesome and the new iron mountain springs in glen wood were fantastic.

If we were staying at a regularly priced motel, I would give this a much better rating. But for the ridiculous amount we were charged, it was very disappointing. The front desk person accommodated us by providing a downstairs room upon request. However, the room was very stuffy and had an unpleasant odor. It was by the stairs and other guests would smoke outside our room and leave a mess. The curtains didn't cover the window completely so anyone could see in if we didn't rig them in a manner to keep the opening covered. The continental breakfast was overrun with 10-15 unsupervised children. The worst part was when the front desk employee walked into our room using her key. Thank goodness we were fully dressed and relaxing watching TV! My husband pointed to the Do Not Disturb sign on the door but she just made some pitiful excuse about being worried about the air conditioner. We have no idea why she was worried about it since it was working fine-perhaps they feel they need to monitor usage.

Enjoyed the breakfast. Did not swim in the pool. Hotel was convenient to other attractions we were there for. There was bridge work being done so we had to take a detour to get back to the hotel at night -- there were no instructions where to go. Had to GPS it.

Stayed here often choose mainly because of price and location. Location for us is its only two blocks from our kids. Clean and beds are good enough. Breakfast is nothing to brag about but there is an Starbucks right across the street.

Uncomfortable dimly lit rooms, very old matresses....................................................................................................................................................................

room is spacious and clean, breakfast is good, 2 pools and spa

Good for a quick night's stay. Having both an indoor and outdoor pool, and a spa was nice.

For the price, it's a great hotel to stay overnight. No complaints.

Exceptional, staff was very pleasant. Service, room, hot tub, were all superior. Very good breakfast selection, parking was nice. More than satisfied.

Very clean room. Staff was very friendly. If you have a car it is only about a 5 min drive to the downtown area. I will definitely be coming back!

You know the hotel and staff were good. The only thing was that we didn't know there were two different heat/ ac units in the room. There is an older floor heater that has its own control but we thought it was broken because it said 50 degrees so we paid it no attention. IT WAS HOT in our room...we turned the newer wall unit on to low cool and about 1am it started making a loud thumping noise so we had to turn it off. We were roasting in our room only to discover the floor wall heater was on and set to about 75 degrees the next morning. BUT that wasn't the worst thing in the world.....now that I know better!!! The breakfast isn't as good as it sounds but a lot of stuff that goes in a toaster to heat up even the french toast. I am not a huge breakfast person so whatever for me. I WOULD come back and stay here, especially in the summer. It has a great location central to town. I think we will get the suite type room next stay so that we can cook our own food and hang out with family.

We had better weather for travel, so arrived in time to enjoy the hot tub! Breakfast in the morning was generous and appreciated. The staff is welcoming and helpful. We just were glad to get away, enjoy the overnight stay and hot tub and travel on our way. Thank you for a great experience. We will return as long as things keep working out so well!

I have stayed at the Cedar Lodge many times over the past 5 years and I have always had a very good experience. The location is near the business section of town and is very close to multiple restaurants.

Just the wife and I ,decent room . Right across the street from Starbucks . Comfortable bed , reasonable price , will stay there again .

We as family of six, had wonderful six days in Glenwood Springs, Co. The hotel was a great place for us to relax after a day out skiing. The service was great and always helpful. We really recommend this hotel for anyone staying within the area.
