Courtyard by Marriott Glenwood Springs

This hotel is located couple of miles of downtown, but if you are looking for remote place with nice views, it is this. And we liked it was very close to Iron Mountain Hot springs which was our destination, just across the river. There are some walking paths nearby also. The room was clean and specious, perfect for 2-4 people. I booked through Orbitz, so I got the breakfast in the rate, and it was excellent, small bar offers very tasty breakfast meals! I really appreciate that.

Great staff and very clean room. Super comfy beds.

Nice hotel. will definitely stay there again. Nice view from window.

Our employees enjoyed it, view nice view and clean.

Loved the little food area in lobby. Both days we are breakfast and had drinks in the evening. Little booths with individual TV's, which I liked a lot. Seemed like brand new hotel. The pool is small, but was good enough as we planned to spend most of one day at the glenwood springs pool. Bartender at night was awesome, super friendly and attentive.

We've always had good experiences at Courtyards and this was no different. We have a 7 and 9 year old and were only in Glenwood for 2 days so that meany packing in as much activity as possible. Even though it was a short drive into town, the location provided easy access to the activities we wanted to be a part of: cave exploring, adventure park, restaurants, shops, whitewater rafting. We parked downtown and had no trouble finding parking. The front desk attendant was very knowledgeable about the area and an abundance of help.

Was Good Ya good location good room Bistro not so good

Room was clean, staff very friendly, pretty close to shopping /eating

Plan was to have a couple days in the area to enjoy Hanging Lake Park and the Hot Springs Pool. Good location for both. Comfortable beds, pillows and good room layout. Wasn't crazy about the shower. We had family of four there but only one little shelf in shower for shampoo, etc. Also there was a coffee pot in room but no carafe. Had to call for one.

Great amenities and the room was clean and modern. Very comfortable stay.

Great staff but there were not enough on them around. The bistro/bar keeps silly hours. Should be open longer especially when the hotel is sold out like our visit. The staff was delightful but overworked as the hotel was full of families and they could not keep up with the demands of keeping things clean, providing enough towels and attending the bistro. Ownership needs to properly adjust when sold out.

Great experience all around. I have stayed at this hotel several times and will stay again in the future.

Clean, hotel staff very attentive. Nice and quiet. Hot tub not working was only downfall.

Beaufitful hotel --- very clean inside and seems to be new or newly renovated. I would say the only drawback was that the free internet provided in the lobby area was terribly slow. That is the only drawback that I can think of when considering my stay.

I LOVE Marriott hotels and save our money to spend on rare and wonderful getaways -- and almost always allow ourselves the luxury of a Marriott on these stays. However, I was disappointed in this visit to the Glenwood Springs location. The room was fabulous, the lobby is exquisite, don't get me wrong. But online we paid an extra $30 for "Include Breakfast with Stay". Most Marriotts we've stayed in have either a fabulous full-breakfast bar or a wonderful Continental Breakfast. At this location, we could order only a few select items at the Bistro. These items didn't even total to $30 -- more like about $21. My $8 plate consisted of one small dry scrambled egg, some cardboard texture/artificial-tasting hash browns, and 2 pieces of dry plain toast. I wish we would've saved our money for a Denny's! (and I don't even enjoy Denny's). I have come to expect way more quality/luxury from Marriott food, and was really disappointed -- and felt a bit ripped off with having to spend $30 for meals that totaled $21! Honestly -- I would like a refund. A couple other items--we asked for more shampoo (three of us with long hair and one small shampoo bottle in the room ) -- but the front desk was 'out' of shampoo. And there were no towels in the pool area -- we had to go to the weight room and grab a few tiny hand towels. I'd recommend they turn OFF the music in the pool area too - I'd think the intended result of the pool/hot tub would be 'relaxing', but the pop music was blaring so loudly we could hardly hear ourselves talk. Anyway--again, usually LOVE my Marriotts...but this stay was truly disappointing and will make me reconsider choosing this chain of hotels in the future unless compensation of some sort is provided.

I spent the night here with my husband and three kids over labor day weekend. The hotel is clean and looks new. I did not want to stay in an older hotel because we have three young children so cleanliness and comfort are important. The lobby and room are much better than I expected for a hotel in Glenwood. The only drawback was that I had to stand in line for 30 minutes to order breakfast. There was only one person working the register and making the food! It was VERY understaffed for Labor Day weekend.

We spent one week camping near Eagle and then Leadville. We planned a surprise night in a hotel for our son before heading back home. This hotel was great. Very new, clean, and comfortable. I thought the location was perfect and gave us easy access to downtown for dinner. Staff was very friendly.

Rooms were clean, staff was great. Try the breakfast it was great'

My family really loved this hotel. I was told that the hotel has only been open for about 1 yr. Everything about the hotel was new. The location was very convenient. We were only a few minutes from our white water rafting excursion and the downtown shops and restaurants. Behind the hotel we found the Community Center's bike/hiking trails that we were allowed to use. They were awesome! Durring our trip we also went to the Yampah Vapor caves and hiked to Hanging Lake. This was a great trip!

The staff was very nice and willing to help. The hotel was in a wonderful location, very convenient to stores. It was a beautiful hotel and was very well upkept.
