Most hotels in Glenwood are not fancy but they have a nice homey feel. La Quinta Inn was not the exception good chill spot with rooms with view of the river. On the other side your view is another hotel.

I enjoyed my stay friendly staff clear rooms the pool and hot tub was nice.

Liked the hotel. Did not like the breakfast or the pillows on the bed. Other than that it was good.

The setting was so relaxing, with a lovely patio area next to the river, just outside the indoor pool/hot tub. While the front desk staff were slightly underwhelming, the ladies who ran the breakfast areas seemed eager to make sure everyone's needs were met. The breakfast offers something for everyone, and included plenty of hot options such as omelets/eggs, sausage, biscuits, and waffles. Our rooms were clean, beds were comfortable w/nice linens. There was a mini fridge, kitchen sink, and microwave which was very handy. The kids loved the pool, we loved the hot tub. All in all, we're definitely planning to stay here again next time we're in town.

Excellent place to stay ! Very clean and awesome staff. Will stay there again.

The beds are comfortable and clean. The hotel is a short drive from the bridge located right on the river. There is a pathway along the river right behind the hotel. Staff is very nice and the price is the best in town.

The room was very spacious. Breakfast was well presented. Hotel manager was considerate and helpful. A very good value.

I booked this hotel for two nights in mid-January. The hotel was great, it's location on the river was really nice, and it was within easy driving distance of the hot springs. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Very comfy bed and pillows. Room was fairly quiet. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was tasty. Carpet was a bit dirty but it was a pet room.

After driving hundreds of miles I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel was located right next to the Colorado river. It was the perfect ending to a long day as I was lulled to sleep by the sound of the rushing water outside my window.

Loved watching the Colorado River and the trains. We would stay here again!

When booked got a great deal but not sure of the hotel. We had stayed across the street last year and it was good value. This year got a package for air fare and hotel for a birthday gift for my girlfriend. When we got there the staff was friendly and since they are sister hotels to Glenwood Suites across the street we recognized some of the staff. They did remember us from last year. The checkin was quick and easy. Went to the room and had a king bed and was happy to see a small kitchenette with microwave, refrig, sink and coffee maker with cabinets. The tv had lots of channels and a flat screen tv which is a plus. There was a breakfast in the morning that included eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, sausage, coffees, cold cereals and pasteries. They had a pool and hot tub on site with exercise room. Looking out to the mountain was wonderful in the morning. Close to town and I-70. Cons: Sheets were a little short, kept coming off the corners of the bed. If you have a problem with train noise at night, there is a couple that go by at night. Our coffee pot went out and was replaced within minutes of reporting it. The pool was out of order for three days so cannot report on it. Pros: Nice, clean stay. Nice to have a kitchen area, Friendly staff. Close to mall area.

clean rooms and confy beds. Breakfast could of been better.

This is one of my favorite mountain hotel getaways. It's right next to the Colorado River and the double queen rooms are very spacious and include a refrigerator and a couch. As some reviewers have mentioned, the carpets are old and the side doors were not locked at night. These were minor issues to me, but worth mentioning. The only problem I had was I found out the next day that the hotel charged me again even though I had prepaid through Orbitz. I called and a clerk said other people had the same problem so he had me call a manager the next day. I did get a refund 5 days later, but it took a couple of calls. It may have been a fluke, but it was an inconvenience. Besides that, my experience at this hotel was positive.

It was very easy to find, right of the interstate. Staff was friendly and place was clean. The river is right out the back of the hotel and there was a nice sidewalk. Only recommendation, bring a towel, the ones provided are TINY.

A great view from the river side of the hotel, with the Colorado River only a few yards away. Not too many resturants close, but city is a few minutes away and has a lot of good places to choose from.

We went to Glenwood Spings for my birthday and had a GREAT time. Did the hot springs and enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub at the hotel. Both were very enjoyable, my being disabled loved the use of water. We couldn't have had a better time. ALL the staff were great. he staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were able to check in early, the room was VERY clean and comfortable. Loved all the pillows and the bed was so comfortable. The river view was awsome and the sounds of some trains and the river were very enjoyable!! I would stay there again and again and would recommend it to anyone, whatever there stay was for.

Our room came with a kitchen table, sink, microwave, and refrigerator-freezer. We stayed 3 nights but they didn't clean the room one day. The breakfast was descent with eggs, saugage, waffles and so on. The swimming pool water was cold but the hot tub was nice. The room shower flow was way too restrictive. Next time bring your own shower head and pliers. They had a complimentary drink in the evening available across the street. [...]

This is a great hotel. Especially for the price. It was quiet, clean, spacious, had a flat screen tv, very nice decor, and the continental breakfast was not continental. Waffles, fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, juice, yogurt, etc... Much better than expected. The bed wasn't the softest, but you're talking to someone that normally sleeps on a memory foam unit. The hotel even had a riverside patio with grills for guests to use. The room also had a great view of the river. I will definitely be back.

This trip was great for a weekend get away from the city. I went to Glenwood Springs for a weekend of nothing but snowmobiling. Totally worth it!
