The hotel is very nice and staff were pleasant. We checked in on 11/22 and out on Sunday 11/23. When we checked out, I failed to get my new coat, tags still on it, out of the closet. I realized it Sunday evening and called the hotel. The male who at the front desk told me there was nothing he could do and to call back in the morning, talk to Melissa, long story short, multiple phone calls, no returned calls, I showed up in person the moring of 11/29. I was told the maid said nothing was in the closet when she cleaned (she was cleaning 5 rooms down from us when we left) there was nothing in lost & found. My husband & I both know I hung that coat in the closet. I will not stay here again because it is obviously not a place I can trust.

We checked in at 10:45 pm and were informed that there were only 2 rooms left and they were on the 1st floor. Since we had been traveling all day, we just took the room that was offered. The next morning we asked for a room change and the receptionist was nice enough to move us to the 3rd floor. Even though it was a better room, the walls are so thin I could hear the toilet flushing in the room next to us. The pillows on the bed were very uncomfortable also. The staff though were really nice and friendly.

I enjoyed my stay at the La Quinta. The room was quiet, clean and spacious. The room had a great view of the mesas, and it was beautiful to watch the sun rise over them in the morning. I liked that I had both a mini-fridge and a small microwave. The bed was comfortable, and had a nice assortment of pillows. The included breakfast was pretty decent, and now I'm hooked on the cranberry juice brand they had. I would recommend staying here.
