We were placed in the section of rooms with pets even though we had none. There were dogs barking until almost midnight, and we could hear every word of conversation from the room above us. There was a gap in the exterior door to the room that you could see the light from outside through. Definitely could have been better.

People out on balcony walking and talking till after 1am extremely busy road in front of motel road noise all night shares parking lot with 24 hr Denny's no place to park anywhere near your room

Computer issues checking in, booked 2 rooms only was able to get one. Left room we were able to get because room was dirty, no lightbulbs in lamps and lots of party noise . Front Desk staff was very friendly and apologetic.

It's a day inn. Outlets were loose, beds and everything were old and parking area very shady.

Dirty and run down

Lots and lots of bugs inside hotel room. Front desk said bugs are in all rooms because it's baying season. Bugs All over bed wall ceiling. Very poor pillows. Dirty towels.

the place is a dump, its not worth 40 dollars a night , i got ripped off

If hotels are pet-friendly, they need to step up cleaning and it needs to be more pronounced when booking that it is pet friendly. In our first room, we walked in, and noticed the window wide open. The reason? The smell of wet dog was overwhelming. They were trying to hide it. Further, there were bugs everywhere near the bathroom and were coming up out of holes in the floor. We went back to the desk to find another room. No bugs, but smell of dog in the air and in blankets and pillows...plus another pungent smell. We wore Covid masks and put our noses in our shirts to deal with for the night. Further, it looked like people were living out of their cars in the parking lot. Bfast was awful, and we ate at Denny's next door. Orbitz needs to start vetting these hotels to be sure they are good places to stay. Pics look fine.

Hi Sarah, It is unfortunate that we have to request a 250.00 cash deposit from locals but sadly, that is the policy of nearly all of Horizon Drive. We are thankful you stayed with us and look forward to seeing you again in the future
