Great place to stay! Clean updated 2 bedroom suite. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! When we left they even gave us 2- 10lb bags of ice for our cooler. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
I took my kids on a trip to visit family and decided it would be beneficial to have a kitchen so we would not eat out while we were visiting. I decided to 'splurge' and get a suite with a full kitchen and I was not disappointed one bit. Not only was I impressed but my children were absolutely besides themselves with how cool this room was. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night that we were there and the front desk, house keepers and other hotel staff were absolutely amazing and incredibly friendly. There are only 2 things that I found to be dissatisfactory was 1) whomever stayed above us in the room was incredibly loud and would pound on the floor until late in the evenings, which made it difficult some nights to go to sleep. 2) the first night we stayed there we had to buy things at there little mart they had downstairs. I was absolutely floored at how much they charged us for a couple microwave meals, a soda and 2 ice cream cones for my kids. It was well over $30 for quite literally 5 small items. I reviewed the receipt and noticed that they charged almost $3.18 for tax PER item. Absolutely absurd if you ask me and a TOTAL rip off. If I hadn't just spent 13 hrs driving on the road I would have made it to the store to grab food, but this was the only option we had that night and I am not impressed.
The Residence Inn Grand Junction is a clearly superior operation. The rooms are well appointed, the staff superior, the breakfast excellent, and the location favorable. We enjoyed our visit and will use this hotel again in the future.
It's what you would expect from a Marriott. Nice rooms, nice breakfast area, good staff. Would be nice to have the double doors on the front to get the luggage cart through easier but not overly difficult. . Fun watch the fighter jets take off during the day. Very close to the airport if you need that.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights and even though there was a junior soccer tournament in town and hotel was crowded, we had a good stay. We chose the top floor (4th floor) looking west over an empty field, based on recommendations, and we were very happy with the choice. We can favorably recommend the hotel.
The clerk at the front desk was extremely friendly at check in. The room was very nice as well. Air conditioning worked great. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, but did not start until 6:30. That is kind of late when you are there for work. Several people were waiting for breakfast to start.
Hotel is very clean, the staff is excellent and very helpful. We actually had maintenance men in the elevator ask and resolve small room problems and this happened several times. The breakfast was good but they ran out of food at the social hour. Also snack night and dessert night was not up to the standards of other Residence Inns. Not enough selection and not enough food for the number of people in the hotel. Many Residence Inns call it a social but it is a light supper. These were not- they were truly appetizers only except for Grill night. The hotel also lacks outside green area for Northerners who want to spend outside time on a picnic table or just sit and enjoy the warm sun.
Very clean and couldn't be closer to airport. Staff very friendly and room was huge, clean and comfortable for my family of five. I saw a family grilling out and tuning their skis for Telluride. If you are looking to fly in or out of Grand Junction en route to Telluride this is ideal. They will shuttle you to restaurants as needed. Definitely a favorite for us now. Left early so can't comment on breakfast.
The staff here is great: friendly, helpful, and worked hard. The breakfast area is too small for the number of guests, and the one attendant had a difficult time keeping up; however, I observed the manager coming over and lending a hand, every once in a while. The breakfast itself was rather average. Nothing remarkable about it. Outside of the staff interactions, the rest of the property is just an average, roadside, corporate, cookie-cutter hotel.
This is a very nice property and the staff was helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast (everyday) and evening snacks (M-W). The eggs and sausage were fresh and very tasty. They offered free drinks including wine and beer with evening snacks. We enjoyed the full size fridge and kitchenette. They also have a barbeque grill you can use outside.
