Needed a place to land for the night and this Residence Inn fit right in with where we needed to break up our road trip for a good night's rest. Became concerned about a barking dog across the hall from our room, but one call to the front desk and Mindy was all over it. No more barking dog. There's an evening "meal" and it was just what we needed instead of heading out to find somewhere to eat. Beer, wine & soda, too. Breakfast was very good, as well. We'd stay here again if we were to return to Grand Rapids.
I spent a few extra dollars to crash one night in a hotel I knew wouldn’t be trashy. It paid off. Excellent service, very clean room. The lukewarm hot tub and the pool could have used a good cleaning.
we had a one night stay here and they have some of the nicest staff we have ever dealt with. Polite friendly helpful and the rooms were immaculate. The shuttle driver Judy Young is the type of employee every business owner wants to have on staff. She was truely a huge help to us and so kind. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here
My room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly (Sincerely! Not fake !). The breakfast layout was typical for a Residence Inn, but more than enough choices to satisfy anyone. Affordable price, would not stay any where else.
Large room with full kitchen, large bed and nice bathroom. When I stayed the hotel had a free social hour on Monday and Tuesday with free food and drinks. Freindly, helpful staff. Clean property with good, free breakfast every morning. Parking lot can be difficult to find a space. Will definitely be back.
If you have a choice, go to the Residence Inn. The entire staff is pure gold. At the front desk you will find Patricia, Anika, Olivia, Raul, Esperanza, Marci, or Mindy all genuine and eager to help. In housekeeping Rebecca, Charlotte, Ron, Charles, or Chris were the smiling faces that did a great job all the time. I especially appreciated DJ and his kindness. In maintenance it was Gary and Jim that took good care of me. The biggest thing for me was how genuine they all were, they didn’t fake their smiles and appeared interested in my goings on. I loved being greeted by name every day by then. They made me feel like more than just a guest, but rather like family. I miss you guys!
The hotel and staff are great! Have Starbucks coffee available. Transportation to the airport. Judy was our driver to the airport. She was extremely friendly as with all of the other staff. I was staying at the hotel after a long motorcycle trip and everything was great!
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for one night. Staff was very friendly. Suite was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Easy access from I70. I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again
O was going to be in Grand Junction for up to two weeks and wanted a place that have me some options besides endless restaurants. The Residence Inn was perfect with kitchen facilities and more space so I didn't feel claustrophobic after several days. Nice sitting area including a desk and comfy office chair, nice separated bedroom and full size kitchen appliances. Frig even had an ice maker -- which I had to turn off at night cuz the cubes dumping into the basket was really loud. TV was large, but could not be turned to view from the bed. Full temperature controls, but some much not like that the A.C. blows directly on the bed -- at least it did in my room. Bed fairly decent, but older (bit flat feeling) pillowtop bed with a duet and fabulous pillows. One downside was the people upstairs sounded like hippos stomping around. And the warm parts of breakfast tended to show up around 6:30, even thought breakfast was supposed to start about 6 -- however more than one type of fresh fruit was a okus, but overall while breakfast items were fresh, it was a bit sparse in some respects. They did have a good laundry, there are noshes and free drinks on Mondays and Tuesday evenings, but I always got in late and options where limited. I saw quite a few dogs staying; generally didn't hear them, by i did wonder if this might be an issue for folk allergic to dogs. Layout of hotel seemed well thought out, with BBQ area, indoor pool and a half basketball court.
Marriott lived up to its first class reputation here in Grand Junction. Stayed here on two separate nights on our way and back from Arches National Park. Hotel was clean, with comfortable rooms and adequate amenities. Front desk check-in was very quick and welcoming. A lovely breakfast was offered each morning. Never would know this is pet friendly until you saw someone with their dog. Very clean. Would stay here again and would recommend
