The price was right for us. The beds were comfortable. The Grand Vista has a nice restaurant and a bar with love entertainment, although we did not use them this trip.
Great staff
Had to get the luggage up steps
Great check in by Nick. The upgrade to a larger room was also appreciated. And the frig/freezer works well. Every room we've stayed in the past five years needs replacement drapes to allow complete darkness for light sensitive folks.
The property was really nice. Most of the staff as well. However we paid for breakfast vouchers that we didn’t even use because we wasn’t able to even get the meats that were there without paying extra. The lady was very rude about it as well. Why pay for the vouchers to end up paying extra for the food you thought you could get with it. We ended up going g to get breakfast somewhere else for pretty much the same price we paid for the vouchers. Our room was clean but our bedding, not so much.
This is a nice property for the price. The bed was comfortable and the view from my window was stunning!
The Grand Vista is a great property for an over night or two during a long road trip. Staff is friendly and the place is pretty decent considering how inexpensive it is.
This hotel is clean and close to the airport. I did not like the parking fee. I could understand the fee if I was leaving my vehicle in their lot while I flew to another destination but that was not the case.
Rooms are okay, a little outdated. All plugs are hidden behind an object. Thay give you three outlets on the desk but the tv cord is in one. The tv is tucked inside a shelving unit where you cannot pull it forword so you cannot see it from the side of the room. Horrible tv programs set up on the tv. The chair in the room is uncomfortable. The place needs a little love and money.
The hotel rate is cheap, but they seem to have many fees. Parking $10, Room security $100. Breakfast $20. Pretty basic room amenities: one small soap, shampoo, and one regular coffee. Bar and restaurant looked nice but we did not go inside. Check in takes a long time.
This property is an old Ramada Inn! Its clean and as hotels go, these days well-staffed! The staff is very nice and willing to assist you! It has a well-managed atmosphere! The front desk is well attended .
Very disappointed about paying parking $10.00. This parkings were around the hotel building and no gates. I think the hotel listed the price lower so it can attract customers but at the end we will pay extra parking fees $10.00 and no free continental breakfast. Of course, next time I will look for better hotel with straight forward setting price. Thanks but no Thanks . Mai N
Good location
No one on staff was wearing masks at any point. We're still dealing with a pandemic that is killing people. When I made this reservation, I was assured that they took this situation seriously and would be taking health precautions and following CDC guidelines! I'm extremely disappointed and will not be using this hotel ever again. What other safety measures are they ignoring when they think they can get away with it?
Check in process was very good. There was a rush of about 5 people checking in at the same time. Only one person at the desk (understandable). She was _very_ professional, polite and quick. Room was clean and nice (a little heavy with cleaner smell). Six floors and two elevators. Slight traffic noise in the rooms closest to the street but not bad. Nice bed and nice sheets and pillows.
I loved the pillows and the mattress. It was the best I've ever slept on in a hotel. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. On the downside, the restaurant left something to be desired although the staff was great.
