We stayed two weeks at Majestic Mirage and, while the property has potential, it currently does not meet five-star expectations. First impressions were underwhelming, including long waits at check-in, limited communication, and inconsistent service standards. The most noticeable issue was workmanship — despite being marketed as new, there were paint splatters, unfinished grout, cracked tiles, uneven wooden walkways, and repeated repairs during our stay, giving the resort an unfinished feel. Our oceanfront suite had a beautiful view but several functional issues, including a poorly graded shower that flooded the bathroom floor, inconsistent housekeeping, a musty smell, and minibar refills requiring repeated follow-up. Butler service was friendly but limited, and no replacement was provided on days off. Dining was inconsistent: some dishes were enjoyable, but portions were small, menus were only via QR code, and basic items were difficult to obtain. Premium liquor options were limited. Beach chairs were difficult to secure even at lower occupancy, policies were inconsistently enforced, and communication around loud events impacting guests was lacking. While the setting and some staff interactions were positive, improvements in construction quality, communication, and service consistency are needed to align with a true luxury experience.

The place was still under construction, rooms were not fully complete. we had a problem with the smell and water in the shower, bad tile job, the cabinet was falling apart, all the water went out of the shower. Once they figure things out, hopefully it will be good, however the managers still have not responded to me about the issues and it has been over a month. I have emailed, messages, still nothing. We stayed at the place with a bunch of family and friends. 19 people. Most of the rooms had a bad smell, some people switched rooms and still bad smell. They didn't offer the aromatherapy that they advertise, it wasn't available yet. Hopefully they fix the problems soon.

The beach was spectacular but the resort was still being worked on hence lots of dust and noise. The room was lovely but the mini-bar service was haphazard at best. Italian, Japanese and Mexican restaurants were great, others were disappointing. Our Concierge Derian was very helpful and made the holiday better.

This resort has a beautiful lobby area, lots of bars, friendly staff, great food and drinks, gorgeous beach. The grounds are very new and need time to grow.The rooms feel very slapped together, there was plaster and paint splatters all over, construction writing still on tiles, construction debris in the corners.we were here 1 week after grand opening and our room already had substantial water damage due to previous flooding in the shower. The room was very damp, and we ran the ac on high all week to try to alleviate this, but my clothes still ended up smelling musty. They need time to sort things out and train staff properly, wait times for food at the restaurants were substantial and our order was wrong quite a few times.. although they always corrected it and food was tasty;) Check in wasn’t seamless.. but we did arrive earlier than stated check in time after flying on the red eye, so we were pretty jet lagged.They told us they’d inform us when our room was ready, and that we would have a 2 queen room as I was travelling with my mom. They sent a message on WhatsApp saying our request was accepted.When we finally got our room at 4pm it had 1 king bed.. we were so ready to sleep we just took it after being told how long it would be to switch rooms. Entertainment crew is very new.. and seem disorganized.. it’s we quiet and pretty boring here during the day. Pool was a ghost town and very cold, weird configuration, no real main pool area. Shows at night are hit and miss.

Clean room' and entire resort was immaculate. Beach and ocean were beautiful, comfortable beach beds and lots of space. Food was all fresh and nasty Resort lacked some excitement,;could of used some better entertainment and some more options after 11pm. Great place to relax. Travelled with wife andb2 teen kids18 and 16, we all enjoyed the family time and relaxing time. Would definitely go back if they can put together more entertainment and improve the after dinner vibes

I couldn’t be more disappointed in our stay. The resort was not ready to open, the construction was not done. The rooms that were done had issue after issue. We had to move rooms 3 times. Everywhere you look there is poor craftsmanship and issues. The build quality is terrible. The restaurants often experience massive delays in getting food out to you. If I had know the resort and rooms would be in such bad condition I never would have went with my family.

I am giving them a 3 only because I feel they are having grown pains as a newly opened resort. Dinner was to long of await and not enough choices honestly. The buffets were fine. The room was clean but some things didn’t look “new”. The staff is extremely friendly and I give them a 4. Our butler was amazing and very responsive. He was with us even at check out with us to make sure we were all good! The beach was great. Love the beach huts. The shows were ok with the last day of our stay being the best as they had a great Mexican celebration with great food and entertainment. I really would like to go back and give it a second chance after being opened a while.

Beautiful resort with top-notch food—we tried everything and were never disappointed. The staff are amazing, hardworking, and incredibly accommodating. The resort even has a dedicated chef for dietary restrictions. Our butler, Oscar, truly went above and beyond. He was on top of everything and surprised us throughout our stay, including special touches for our anniversary. The nightly shows were great, and Mexican Night was AWESOME. I loved that only two restaurants required reservations—it made dinners stress-free and easy to walk in anywhere. The beach was beautiful, the room was spacious, and we loved having two washrooms. The oceanfront swim-up had a gorgeous view and easy swim-out access. The only downside of the entire trip was that the pools were cold—otherwise, absolute perfection. Thank you to Oscar and all the Majestic Mirage employees who made this trip truly memorable.

Still largely under construction. Food/service was good. Entertainment team was great. Our room still had construction materials inside. A/C was not consistent, wifi/phone was down for 2 days. Our Butler wasnt great, said he had 20+ rooms at once and was not very reachable. Asked for pillows, aromatherapy, & a banner for our door 4 times and it was never delivered. Lots of room for growth at the resort, Elegance next door is still our favorite
