When you book and pay for a suite and you arrive and they tell you they over sold so you get stuck in a standard room with no offer of a partial refund or anything it is very disappointing. But hey, a candy bar from the pantry makes it all better, right?

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff were amazing and super helpful. My only small complaint would be the sound. The walls were very thin and you could hear everyone talking coming down the hall. I’m a very light sleeper, this did wake me several times. Now it could be the people being loud vs the hotel. That’s my only complaint.

They ran out of parking spaces, so we had to park at a parking garage 2 blocks down in extremely cold weather. They overbooked the type of room we had reserved and we had to downgrade, but they comped us with a free bar drink each. The rooms were clean and the hotel bar was nice. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would go there again. The proximity to the United Center is a huge bonus!
