Wasn't greeted all that great by staff. It would be nice to be told where amenities were. Breakfast was great. Sheets were wrinkled. Great location.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Very pleasant stay. Would recommend and will stay here again.

Nice place to stay. Close to downtown. Lot of parking garages around. Parking in Chicago is a nightmare, but this hotel has nothing to do with it. Breakfast was awesome. Night shift front desk attendant was less than courteous, but you can't expect the Midwest hospitality in Chicago.

We booked a suite and the room was nice, but the a/c unit for a building was right outside our window and was very loud, made it very hard to sleep. Will not stay there again if we get a room over the a/c unit again.

Staff was great and friendly - accommodated a late check-out request and always answered questions. The room... while the bed was really comfortable, other amenities were clearly not thought-out... the lighting is HORRIBLE. For any woman who ever wants to apply make-up, bring a light. The light above the vanity didn't seem to add anything. The vanity was small and cluttered with tissue boxes, coffee maker, and a little display thing for the hotel soaps and shampoos. Even after clearing most of that away, there was barely enough room to put stuff, of which I don't really have a lot. While the major things seemed clean (toilet, shower, etc.), the desk area didn't seem to be dusted/cleaned in a long time. The room I had was facing Ontario St. and if you're a light sleeper, good luck. Street noise, sirens, workers, etc. can be very loud. Despite all this, I'd give them another chance and see what another room offered. I was in room #502 - pretty small, but it was just me. If I stayed there with my husband, I would definitely want a larger room.

Very good experience. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Very nice place to stay. It was close to everything we needed. Rooms were very clean and quite lovely. Beds are nice and comfy but I did find them to be a bit small if you're a tall person. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

My daughter and I visited the Chicago area for a college tour recently. Our stay was excellent from start to finish. We used the valet service upon arrival, checked in quickly and was pleasantly treated to room that looked newly updated. Very clean and mostly quiet with the exception of a blower on the heater (Rm 706) and a few city sirens. We really enjoyed the location as it was close to shopping & restaurants (Quartino Italian restaurant was very good). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

My daughter and I spent 3 days in Chicago for a little get away. This hotel has a wonderful staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was modern and clean. The "wood like" floors, were cold to walk on. Make sure you pack socks. We wished we would have packed our own pillows, but there are a lot of people who are particular about their pillows. The blankets were thin so we did buy an extra blanket at Marshall's just a few blocks away. We stayed on the 7th floor so we didn't have much of a view, but we were only in the room to sleep. We had no noise complaints. After reading a few other reviews, I was actually impressed with the lack of noise coming from the streets of Chicago. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. There were several hot and cold breakfast choices. (Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, make your own waffles, oatmeal with toppings, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, juices, milk) The staff was constantly filling items that were getting low. One block off of the Magnificent Mile and situated close to the middle of the mile. We only used an Uber one time and walked to everything we wanted to see the rest of the time.

Can't remember the last time I stayed at a nicer hotel.

Location was great. Continental breakfast was better than expected; waffles, muffins, granola, oatmeal, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, sausage, cereal, coffee and juices. Our room was very small, however. Not much room between the bed and wall. We had quite a tough time closing the door to our room, and the first few times had to walk back to the door only to find it never closed. We had to do a series of handle-jiggling every time we wanted to close our door...may want to have that checked out (room 912). We also asked the staff for some good local places to eat - unfortunately they suggested chains?! Support local business! May be a good idea to have a few go-to's ready for guests. We ended up at The Purple Pig, which was fantastic. Again, great location but very small room. Not sure I would stay here again, although it did do the trick.

Starting with the staff and ending with the staff, the stay here exceeded expectations. Greeted every day by smiling doormen helping us on our way. Free daily breakfast and free Wi-Fi were why I chose this particular hotel. The room was ready upon arrival, clean and modern. The only negatives would be we could here the sirens of the medical campus just across the street, but it's Chicago, we dealt with it. And the bathroom was very small, but we did not spend much time in the room, so not very bothersome.

We received a great deal for this hotel so we gave it a try. The service was fantastic, front desk and housekeeping went above and beyond. The breakfast was also much larger than we expected. It was perfectly located to Michigan avenue and all the shopping. We will be back!!

Great location hotel staff and valet very friendly and helpful. Room was beautifully decorated.

This hotel has a great location, just a block from stores and restaurants. Really close to the water tower.

Nice locations, newly remodeled room. Could have used more hanging space for clothes, but very cute and modern. Staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful.

Second time on this nice hotel. rooms are too small with no closet but nothing that can not manage. Staff is friendy and breakfast is a plus.

good location, good price. It is very near buy downtown area.

Friendly staff - everyone from Valet, Front Desk and Housekeeping. Clean room. Good location to Michigan Avenue, Millenium Park and Navy Pier. All within easy walking distance.

Very small fitness room (2 treadmills and 1 elliptical). Breakfast was good, but I didn't like seeing so much use of styrofoam dishes. Could hear some street noise. Generally comfortable though.
