Limited food options at hotel

Amazing hotel!

Location was awesome! Really friendly staff and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking was a little bit confusing and a little bit of a walk from the hotel. It wasn't clear how much I saved (if any) purchasing parking through the hotel versus just paying full rates at the garage. The lobby area was pretty noisy and made it challenging for me to have a work call, but I was staying on vacation so that is not a critical negative.

The property is very no frills. You don’t get breakfast, parking is expensive, the pool is small and cold, and the clientele are loud at all times of the day and night. The rooms were small and didn’t have dressers for clothes. The bathroom had this weird sliding door that didn’t work well and the walls were cheaply painted. The beds were comfier than I expected and the comforters weren’t too heavy, unlike a lot of the hotels I’ve stayed at. I would consider other options within Marriott’s group of hotels for my next stay in Chicago.

I really enjoyed my stay

We were unable to check in to this hotel because my husbands (recently married) last name on his ID didn’t match the one on his ID, since we were just married. The younger lady at front was extremely rude and mumbled under her breath that the ID was “fake” and was being extremely unprofessional. I have stayed in dozens of hotels in Chicago and across the country and I have never experienced such horrible service.

Nice room, good size bathroom and walk in shower, nice beds and great size TV

Very clean room and bathroom. But like just about every hotel we’ve ever stayed in, the walls, floors, ceilings are thin enough to hear what your neighbors are saying or listening to. For us the mattresses and pillows were too hard. But there’s no way any hotel can please everyone when it comes to mattresses and pillows. I do think that the “queen” mattresses in the room seem smaller than the queen mattresses we have at home. It’s still a nice hotel with a convenient location. I appreciate the cleanliness.

Great stay. Clean. Quiet. Great staff. Very clean bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Excellent

No place to hang wash towels in the shower. No way to turn overhead lights above beds off individually, controlled by main light switch by door. Decent hotel, just minor things that would have been convenient to have in room.
