Property was in a great location. Staff was great. My room wasn’t cleaned properly upon arrival. There was a weird smell that always lingered in the lobby, like old water or sewer. I could hear whenever someone was on the treadmill from my room. Woke me up most mornings.

Excellent stay
My wife and I stayed in a double queen suite while I was recovering from a surgery I was having at Rush. The suite was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was also great and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe next time with the whole family.

Our stay was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All of our special requests were granted ahead of our stay. Our room was very nice and very clean. The outdoor and indoor lounging areas are very nice. The pool and outdoor rooftop terrace are both very nice! We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was exceptional, not to mention the friendliness of the wait staff, especially Edgar. The location is great too, with great restaurants, bars, even a blues club just blocks away. The total package! We would definitely stay here again.

My first time visiting Chicago and i actually meant to select the Royal Sonesta downtown i didnt know there were two locations however the river north location was great! The location was very convenient i didn’t have to uber much. The room was great. They let me do a courtesy late check out and i paid for an additional hour. I definitely recommend!
