Great place to stay at. Good location and steps away from the L. Quick check in too. Only complaint was the water from both the sink and shower came out too hot (even at lowest hot setting). Apart from that, would stay here again.

Front desk agent (girl with a couple tattoos) was absolutely amazing. Got me checked in real quick and early most of all. As far as housekeeping is concerned, definitely needs improvements there…found some “hair” that definitely was not mine, but aside from that, always like staying at this hotel.

Kitschy clean small hotel, bar/restaurant in the lobby, gritty gym in the basement. Rooms are small but fine for 2 people. I was there on business so it was perfect for me. Price is the best in the area. Front staff are polite and competent and the front desk is always staffed. AC was cold and showers were hot. This is not a traditional hotel experience, but I enjoyed it. Great for a business traveler or maybe a young couple touring Chicago.
