What is didn’t like about the property was the door that was opening from the other room. I could get a good night sleep because the guests that were in there were so loud

Location for me was ideal - ill be staying across the street next time.

The Holiday Inn was updated, clean and efficiently run. Breakfast included was an excellent option as the breakfast was in their restaurant and you had the entire menu to chose from.

Beyond the false alarm of a fire at 11:30 pm and the reasonable time to check the hotel out what upset me was the staff had no idea on how Rheem gage the elevators following such an incident. Although that may be a minor item for my family it was not. My wife recently (3 days prior) had broken her shoulder. With her arm in an immobilizing sling tried to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor. She slipped and redamaged her shoulder. She spent a good part of the night crying in pain. Had the staff known how to reengage the elevators this accident would not have taken place and my wife would not have needed to suffer that pain again. Unhappy experiences are not soon forgotten - a dissatisfied customer. One point more, I noticed that the external fire door doesn’t actually close and latch making this an unsecured entrance to the hotel - affording anyone complete access to all floors except the main lobby all night long. Security and safety are paramount in my requirements for all hotels I stay at. This is one I won’t be returning to because they failed on both accounts, safety and security.

Recently remodeled and way nicer than it used to be.

We ended our trip with this hotel after staying in two upscale hotels the previous 2 nights. This might have skewed our opinion of this hotel a little. However, the carpet in the room was dirty looking and stained and although it wasn't even 75 degrees out when we arrived and the ac in the room was on high, it was muggy, warm and uncomfortable in the room. We didn't stay in the hotel much due to not liking it so I'm unsure of the amenities. It's also not within walking distance to anything but the staff was really nice and it was cheap. It served the purpose for a night.

A good spot if you want to stay in Canada vs. Detroit.

This was a great location! Convenient to both Windsor and Detroit. The rooms are a generous size and we especially enjoyed the pool.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Nice, clean, quite, nice and polite staff , super comfortable!!!

All good Only one thing - breakfast is not included .

Just returned from a family graduation at the University of Windsor. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites. From the moment you register at the front desk until you check out - the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The room was clean and bright and very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was heavenly. The overall cleanliness of the hotel and the beautiful gardens make this a definite place to stay. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is conveniently located to shops, restaurants and a Tim's right next door

The price was much too high for being outside of the city. The sole reason we picked the hotel was because it had a hot tub near the pool, something the other hotels didn't have. However, the hot tub wasn't working, and the price of our room was not adjusted. So we paid ~160 for a room outside of downtown (where we spent most of the evening). Barring that, the hotel was nice. It was pretty much what I expected, but again, pricey.

We had a great experience at this hotel. We were traveling with 2 small children (ages 3 and 21 months) so we inquired about a suite which we were upgraded to at a very low cost. They even let us look at it before we made our decision. The A/C wasn't working at first, but they completely replaced it. They even offer "Kids eat free" coupons for their restaurant, grill 55, which was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The food and service were great! Highly recommend this hotel!

wE WERE JUST IN OVERNIGHT FOR PERSONAL REASONS AND FOUND THE HOTEL THE RIGHT PLACE FOR US TO STAY IN WINDSOR

Even though there is renovations going on, the hotel was very clean and quiet. The only noise was a large amount of young people staying there for a baseball tournament. I wasn't as disrupted as my sister was across the hall from me but her room was at the elevator and there was some loud talking in the hall way at a very early hour. The staff was not only courteous but extremely helpful. I have family in the area and on our next visit we will be stay at this hotel again.

Overall everything was great. Beds are super comfortable. love the fact there were no carpet in the room. the lounge 55 is well appointed The reception was proud of the newly renovated hotel and welcoming.

Dear Richard, We are terribly sorry about the incident. Our guest's safety is paramount to us. Just to be clear it was not that the Agents did not know how to reset the Elevators, the system would not allow them to reset them as the sensor was still active, we had to actually call for an emergency service to reset the sensor so that we could get everything back to normal. I have taken note of your comment regarding the door. We do inspect all our doors daily and all our emergency devices monthly. We are saddened to see this experience affected your perception of our property, and hope you may change your mind in the future.
