Get outdoors in Torrance

Not all of Torrance's attractions are indoors. Spend some time at Redondo Beach Dog Park. Visiting Seaside Lagoon, too, is a good way to get outside.

What to do for fun in Torrance

Have a little fun at Laser Storm and Gable House Bowl, where you can take to thrilling carnival rides and nosh on indulgent snacks. For a taste of friendly competition, work on your hook and aim for the head pin at local bowling alleys like Gable House Bowl. Treat yourself or your family to a movie at AMC Del Amo 18 and Gardena Cinema, where all the action and romance plays out on the big screen, and where the popcorn smells pretty tempting.

The trained professionals at LA Fitness and Soho Med Spa can help you relax and work out any sore spots after long days spent sightseeing.

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Santa Monica

Well maintained property in downtown Santa Monica

If you want to stay in downtown Santa Monica but not right on the beach, this is a pretty good choice. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, and the property is within walking distance to most restaurants and businesses as well as public transportation. (Only downside is that it sits right on the 10 Freeway, which can be busy and noisy.) The hotel is a bit of a panopticon - if you have an interior room, remember to draw your blinds or someone will end up peeking in on you. Front desk staff seemed overwhelmed when i checked in and checked out, but this didn't otherwise affect my overall stay.

Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City

Perfect as a part of The Universal Studios experie

Easy to find. Daily parking rate, in and out privileges. Best thing to do is to simply park your car and take the shuttle to Universal Studios them park or Citiwalk. Shuttles are 15 mins apart from 9am-9pm. Staff are courteous and professional. Parts of the hotel give away its age. Carpeting in room can use some TLC. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Extended Stay America Los Angeles - Torrance Harbor Gateway

GREAT TEAMWORK AT THE GATEWAY!!!

The attending clerk was having problems with the different systems or travel sites, and ES nterface systems. Luckily the clerk that was off was able to proactively assist the clerk with finding my information. Which I thought was awesome, being that the clerk was a little flustered, her co worker sensed it, jumped right in,explained to her coworker a different way of being able to access helpful information to ease my check in. I liked that the clerk felt the support from her coworker and thanked her a bunch!!!

Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel

Good for business trip

The hotel location is right near the 405 freeway so great access to other parts of LA. I didn't really take much advantage of the hotel amenities as it was a short business trip. But checking in and out was very quick and easy; the parking valet was always available and all staff were very pleasant and helpful.
