The hotel being a Hyatt brand maintained its class. It had a huge rather mammoth swimming pool where it was not easy to swim alone. It needed almost a thousand people to look occupied :-) Nice ambience and great breakfast. Service was good the valet guys expect tips but its not compulsory
Great shuttle bus service - every 30mins or so. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean. We were only here one night and found it clean and toiletries available. Well worth staying, though if you want to see anything else, not quite suitable. Free wifi available.
This well maintained hotel is very convenient for the airport and has frequent free shuttles. Check in and check out were efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lifts were quick. Bedrooms are large, comfortable and quiet. Shower pressure adequate but not great. Coffee machine, fridge, large TV, free WiFi and one of the best hotel bedroom irons I have used. Very reasonable for $75 + 6,000 pts. Recommended.
Hyatt Regency Lax airport was conveniently located. They had their regular airport shuttles from the airport, who pick-up every half an hour. Check-in was Smooth and quick as we had made a reservation.Rooms were spacious and clean.Toilets were neat and clean toiletries were ok.The sound proofing was awesome and peaceful in the room. Restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful during the breakfast. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which had a good spread. The staff at the 24 hrs restaurant/coffee shop were well trained and delivered the order quickly. We used the swimming pool too. Overall a pleasant stay at Hyatt Regency.
Older but well-preserved hotel very close to LAX and with good shuttle service. Fast wifi, friendly staff, large comfortable rooms. Nice pool with lots of sun. Breakfast in the Regency Club was a bit disappointing. Nothing cooked to order, limited choices, not even regular coffee (watered down espresso is not an adequate substitute).
Stayed one night and found the hotel to be clean, new furniture and a friendly staff. The hotel is very near LAX so you do not have to rush to catch your departure flight. However, I arrived on United at stop #7 and saw a number of Hyatt vans pass me by as they were full. I had to walk down towards the next hotel shuttle stop near #5 or #6. Nice hotel and would stay again.
Hotel has been remodeled so it feels new and clean. Food at Unity LA is also pretty good but very pricey ($30 for a buffet). Only 3 that I'm a little unhappy about: 1) Check-in. I did online check-in and was supposed to simply go to a guest service desk but in the lobby, there was nothing other than the check-in counter so I had to wait in line and didn't experience speedier service; 2) Luggage Rack. The room has plenty of space to put and open luggage BUT the hotel didn't provide any luggage rack so only option was put them on the floor; 3) Shower. The shower setup is not ideal given low pressure. If you use the rainfall shower, pressure was next to nothing. If you use the handheld, the holder could only move up and down with fixed angle. Given the design, it was pointing almost horizontally.
I tried really hard to like this place. I left the courtyard Marriott across the street in search of better food options. My body time clock was on east coast time so I was ready to eat at 4:30 pm...the lobby "restaurant" was not crowded. Rather than having assigned stations, the two servers alternated between guests based on their arrival order So the friendly gent that greeted me yelled to his coworker that I was his. 8-10 mins before a menu appeared. After drink arrived, I waited another 15 to give my order...only after asking several times.. meanwhile I witnessed 4 different people approach the bar for service because they were mid meal and not being attended to. One guest actually apologized for bothering the staff. People came in and out for the pool deck looking for service. Fruit flies bothered me throughout my meal and the bartender even complained about them. Cold food, not cooked properly. A limp flatbread with canned pineapple and tomato ketchup for sauce. And $50+ dollar later 😔 Lack of caring, lack of management. Terrible.
A very well apointed property, but it has a very limited menu and the selections are grossly overpriced for the value. I hosted a national business meeting here over two days and was generally disapointed.
Clean remodeled room. Good window insulation no noises from the planes. Big size tv. Very nice showers with bathroom supplies also has a Starbucks coffee. There is parking available at the hotel for around $40 per or self parking next building for $15 per night. Would recommend to others.
