Pros: very nice inside. Nice room with comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Close to airport. Three shuttles running. Cons: double charged for room (rectified). A charge for internet (waved when i signed up for Marriott app). A bit of a walk to other conveniences

Food is also awesome in diner

The ADA wheelchair accessible 2 queen room is not completely ADA compliant. Couldn’t fit a wheelchair in between the beds to get over onto them and the frames are bolted to the wall so they couldn’t be moved either. The shower bench was dirty in the grooves and underneath and the handheld shower to use on the shower bench was barely more than a trickle making it hard to rinse off well. The hot water in the shower took 5-10 minutes to heat up for the whole stay.

Overall as a Bonvoy member I liked this hotel. Not the 1st time I stayed there!

My reservation was for a king bed. At check in they over booked the hotel and provided double beds with no compensation for their mistake. I'm 6’4 so unpleasant sleep. Food options were limited and quality of breakfast was marginal. Also had to experience a fight at 9am between two guests and a restaurant manager and was supposed to act like that was normal at a Westin. For the money not a good option and very disappointed.

Check in was slower than expected. There were quite a few waiting to check in but only one desk person seemed effective. There were no grab and go food options for late night arrivals which seemed strange at an airport location. Service was generally very good and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location but it's under construction. Wish I was informed would have chosen another place to stay.

You have a strike at 630 am until 730am. They didnt let me rest. Very sad

I loved how the cleaning staff cleaned the room daily and even folded my clothes each day and placed them neatly aside for my convenience… I will definitely want to stay at the Westin there in Los Angeles whenever I visit California.

coffee cafe needs to have longer hours

The property was experiencing some lobby upgrades and protesters on the property, which were loud and disruptive to a normally quiet stay. I found the Cafe with Quick Items to not be a Starbucks, so they didn’t have the breakfast sandwiches and other items seemed very pricey. The restaurant and cafe/bar were fine with nice staff and good food. I enjoyed eating there and was well treated. My room had a plumbing issue which made it necessary to move to another room. The new room’s shower lever wasn’t working and this really put me behind schedule. I was compensated after asking, with a good credit to my room. I had some excellent front desk staff as well as some who brought only a business attitude with no smile or friendliness. Not good for the hotel. The outdoor pool & jacuzzi were very nice and provided a relaxing atmosphere. In the 2d room, it was upgraded and looked really nice. The fridge is hidden behind a door. The bathroom door was really stylish with an upscale look, and the little closet doors looked very nice. In the morning with no TV on, I heard an older man next door sounding like he didn’t feel well. Normally, the room is soundproof for the most part. I really missed the waterfall fountain that The Westin is known for and I hope they bring it back in their hotel upgrade.

I’m not sure how this is a Westin, it’s more of a holiday inn than anything else. The staff were friendly but the hotel itself needs work. Windows in the room were filthy and there was a glob of hair in the rubbish bin in the bathroom, the previous guests shower sponge and something that looked like blood stains on the carpet. Plastic cups in the bathroom as well. The price is right for what it is but definitely nothing like any other Westin I’ve stayed in before.

Great location.

The room was comfortable and the tub/shower was excellent. Also, our room had an excellent view of the approach end of the LAX runway, so it was quite a show. The only problem is that the self-parking at the hotel was overpriced ($45/night) so we used an adjacent building that charged $15/night.
